Wouldn't stay again

Not worth the money. I've been to much nicer places for a lot less. Service was bad and everything cost money, this is far from an all inclusive

Beautiful property on the beach.

Loved this hotel. The suites were large with separate bedrooms. We had 2 parlour suites connecting. Service was top notch with personal concierge. Daily cocktail service in our rooms and several fine dining options. Beautiful beach and pool views from our rooms. Returning next year for sure

Infinity pool was beautiful.

Pros: We liked the location, rooms, activities that were included in the all inclusive price and the restaurants.
Cons: We were not told prior to our trip that men and boys needed long pants for the restaurants, therefore, we did not pack the proper clothes.
Location: We were very happy with the excursions vendor Vallerta Adventures.
We enjoyed the beautiful beach location, the attentiveness of the staff, the activities available and the quality of the restaurants.

Pros: Las instalaciones son muy buenas, pero el servicio del personal es de lo mejor
Cons: Tal vez un poco de mantenimiento en la unión de sus techos, porque cuando llueve, llueve también adentro en los pasillos.
Location: Ellos mismos se esmeran en que todos obtengan lo que quieren. Nosotros particularmente queríamos descansar y así lo logramos.
Excelente hotel enfocado en que nuestra experiencia en él sea excelente. Todas nuestras necesidades fueron resueltas con una actitud de servicio al cliente que no encunetras fácilmente en este país. Era el cumpleaños de mi marido y pusieron un énfasis en que fuera felicitado en todos los puntos, restaurantes y hasta en nuestra habitación. Sinceramente lo recomiendo!!

Exceed en my expectations

Grand Velas is luxury hotel where service its their must important comodity. I had the best dinner experience at the french restaurant. The chef made us a seven course dinner specially for my family. At the beach I never had to order a drink, every time there was someone offering my something, always premium. The buffet its ok, not luxurious. Installation are beautiful, koi pond espectacular. Every area always clean and well maintained.

Exceptional 5 star property in every sense !

Pros: Everything, way too many things to enumerate!
Cons: None whatsoever
Location: We did not venture outside, and it helps that the resort is 20 mins from the airport...
Fabulous staff, beautiful grounds and excellent food choices. Our experience: Staff is courteous, welcoming and very helpful (they got fresh avocado for our 6 month old every morning at breakfast) Smallish property, hence not a lot of walking Amazing views of the ocean from every corner and room Parlor suite has additional area outside bedroom, which is great if you have a small baby who needs to sleep earlier Pools are exquisite to say the least Beach is terrific and the ocean is swimmable (no rocks, weeds and such). We went into the ocean everyday for 203 hours Mexican restaurant was the best, both with service and quality/taste of food Specialty restaurants need to allow kids below 12, although we did get the chef from the French restaurant (Piaf) to cook us a meal while we were at the Italian restaurant Cocktails are not watered down, as would be expected of a 5-star resort and the wait staff at the pool goes out of their way to remember your drink choices and such We had Fish tacos by the poolside one day, and it made for a memorable lunch... We will be staying at the Grand Velas overtime we head to Puerta Vallarta

Hotel todo incluido excelente servicio

Excelente hotel, instalaciones de primera, servicio de lujo, concierge personal a tu disposicion y muy al pendiente durante toda tu estancia. Tiene 3 restaurantes excelentes con chef de cada especialidad, es una lastima que solo abran de 6pm a 11pm. El restaurante que el hotel maneja que esta abierto la mayor parte del día, se llama Azul, es bueno para ser todo incluido pero podría mejorar en la calidad de los alimentos.

Gourmet all inclusive

Pros: Concierge, grounds, dinners
Cons: Repair the showers so that they are hot
Location: Nice downtown shopping and nearby casinos
Positives: Outstanding gourmet dinners, wonderful service, beautiful setting, and a truly excellent concierge -- Enrique. Negatives: There aren't a lot of lunch options and the shower is cold.
