I had three handwritten messages left for me at the front desk. I was not alerted or told. These meetings were missed. Add sketchy wifi and the hotel was not as user friendly as could be. Television blaring in the neighbor's room. I contacted security and received little attention. Finally, after co fronting security at 1;15am, the matter was resolved. But the excessive effort at this late hour is not appropriate. The location is fine

Nice location for beach and people watching

The best thing about this hotel is it's location to the beach and old town PV. The central plaza is out your front door for Sat. Market and a free Friday night pageant. All the rooms in the hotel are equipped differently. Our first room had many problems, so we asked to move. The next room was so much better. Don't be afraid to move rooms!

Right in the middle of great restaurants and bars in romantic zone. Just 1/2 block to the beach. Nice views on the roof top with swimming pool. Rooms and beds are not great, but the price and location make up for that. Staff was excellent.

Basic hotel close to the beach and noisy area

I didn't choose this hotel directly but through a"Surprise offer" by Expedia. Very misleading since they compare this basic with major chain 4--5star hotels in the same area . Once you have purchased the "Surprise " room they show you what you got. When I arrived at the hotel, this room was so basic that had no AC but a fan and no TV. The hotel offered me an upgrade 11$ US per day which I ovbiously chose. Yet I was not able to sleep due to the loud noise from drunkers passing by my room window . When asked to change my room to a corner room away from the noise I was told it was impossible. I only stayed there one night. I'm still waiting for a response from Expedia about my refund and still have not had any answers. Not a good deal at all!

2nd stay at Family Friendly budget Hotel

Pros: The front desk staff, and maintence man are very nice. Front desk people have been here a long time, and can help direct you.
Location: Hotel is on a deadend street, across from a lovely park, in the south end of town..1/2 block off beachfront. Walkable area, with loads of restaurants
we lucked into one of the rare 1 bedroom suites, and throughly enjoyed the room. We had a small balcony, 2 stories above the small lobby pool. Good neighborhood and buzy area for finding smaller stores, eaterys, and bars. 1/2 a block off of beach. Most everything within a 3-4 block area, walkable in all directions. Only a few small drawbacks...our suite was directly across from the elevator, and people congregated there at all hours. There is an outside window opening in a hallway down from our room. We quickly learned that anyone at that window could look directly into our room, through the insuficent drapes...We will stay here again, reserving the studio rooms.
