Everything was excellent except the beach too many rocks. The waiters were excellent very good service I recommend you to be served by Fernando, he's working at the breakfast buffet.

Perfect for an all inclusive getaway!

Pros: The staff is incredible and the pools and restaurants are great.
Cons: The beach is pretty rocky, so be prepared with swim sandals or socks. I think a better separation of kid/adult pools would be an improvement too..
Location: There are people who offer jet ski rides, kayaking and parasailing on the beach next to the property.
My boyfriend and I had a great time reading on the beach and swimming in the ocean and pools, especially the one with the swim up bar. We loved the hibachi experience if you want a group setting and the Italian restaurant was fancy and nice. We had amazing lightning storm shows at night and the entertainment shows are really fun. We walked down the beach to rent a jet ski and bought some fun drinks in coconuts in pineapples from the jet ski rental place too!

Excellent service and great leadership

Service is one of the best I have ever had , some other hotels should learn from this outfit as they go out of their way to make you feel special , the general manager Mr. Alex Andrade is an exceptional leader and does not sit up high in his ivory tower like some other general managers in other hotels I have stayed in as he is very open to talk to anyone and at any time , comfort and cleanliness throughout the hotel is excellent , the lobby bar area has a great variety of presentations every night and the staff is outstanding .

Fun fun fun

My daughter and I took a girls trip and between the staff and entertainment team we didn't want for anything!! Canelo, Mario and Damian were awesome and Fernando and Omar at the pool always had a drink or water ready for us!! Highly recommend it!!

Nice hotel right on beach

Pros: The staff that I met as they were so energetic and friendly.
Cons: The food could be better
Location: Right on beach, short cab ride to boardwalk; short cab ride to Happy Lobster (delish!); parasailing right out in front of hotel, paddleboard and kayak
The staff was wonderful! Lalo (Eduardo), Damien, Eloquiel (sp), Ivan, Jesse at the concierge desk, Lucas and Jose at one of the desks right off the elevator. The pools were nice, there were several of them; the food could have been a little bit better, I was told at the buffet that I couldn't have the shrimp because it was only for making a pasta dish; seems odd to me but okay. Don't want pasta just want the shrimp. Beach was nice and clean, however, once you tried to go into the ocean it was extremely rocky; definitely need water socks (which I of course forgot). They threw an amazing 4th of July party; quite impressive. Sunsets were gorgeous.

Wouldn't come here again

This is THE WORST hotel experience EVER. I will NEVER return. Customer service has been terrible from day one. But, if you do decide to come: Make sure you bring pants or they won't let you eat inside the restaurants. Make sure you don't bring your food into the lobby or you will get asked to leave. Make sure you bring a towel so you don't have to chase down the staff looking for one and then wait 30mins for it. If you ask for room service, make sure you have 1.5hr+ to kill-not the 45mins they tell you. The pillows feel like lumpy cotton balls were shoved inside. Our room smells like mold. If you need and ask specifically for a crib BEFORE you book-be aware it's not a crib, it's a playpen--but what's even better, on our last day the maid stated they have cribs and she would bring me one I was like thinking WHAT?! Why would they give us a playpen when we asked for a crib?! Beaches are ROCKY. Beers are WARM. Speaking of beers-don't ask for Modelo Especial, I was told those are only for the "higher paying rooms" And don't ask for a straw so your toddler can drink her juice, they have to ask management to give one out...yes, a straw � There was also old hair in our shower drain. So gross. The pool bartender by the kiddie pool was nice, a couple waiters were also nice and our view was nice (loud until 11pm just in case you have noise sensitive babies) the entertainment was fun too but that's about the only nice thing I have to say.

Family Friendly Hotel

Pros: Family friendly and they try to make sure you are happy. They responded quickly to my questions or concerns. We were on the beach!
Cons: Shorts rules for boys in the restaurants since the heat and humidity is high. Change the Teen Room to all to help families with different ages.
Location: We signed up for 3 Vallarta Adventures and had a great time on each one. Had enough safety and adventure to satisfy all.
We are a family of 5, with ages of kids being 20, 19, and 12. We really enjoyed our stay at Now Amber. Food was great everywhere but I should have made the boys bring pants for the evening restaurants as they only had shorts and even the polo shorts were against the rules so we only had 2 places to choose from for our entire stay. The Teen Room didn't allow my older kids to play with their brother which was a bummer especially as hardly any kids were ever in it. I also recommend making sure your room had a dehumidifier as this really helped. We asked for one and got it right away. When we had a problem, they responded quickly.

Great food, nice pools, rooms need a little TLC.

Have been visiting for the past five years. Food, pool areas are great with nice heated kids pool. Rooms need a little upkeep, things start to deteriorate as years go by. Every night new show, all pictures come out as if you are on a postcard. Will defiantly come again.

Nice hotel but they bug you with club membership

Pros: Quality of food and drinks was very good
Cons: if I said I'm not interested in the club membership do not insist again!
Location: sort of close to downtown and the marina so is nice in that regard.
The hotel was very nice but since you arrive they will not leave you alone with trying to sell you their club membership, offer you free things like massages or trips if you attend whatever information during breakfast. We said from the beginning, we were not interested about any of that and they will call us everyday with the excuse to see how was our staying and try to book us for the information breakfast, very annoying! Quality of food and drinks was very good however the beach is rocky in that area so is not nice for swimming. Overall it was an OK experience but I would not stay here again due to the annoying selling part and the beach.
