Simple, not fancy, you get what you pay for.

We had a great time at Samba Vallarta. We went with other families so our kids had friends to play with. The kids club staff were very friendly but there weren't a ton of planned activities. The food was fresh but we had to beg for guacamole, which I don't like to do at a Mexican all-inclusive! The drinks were very good. The pool and rooms were clean. When my son was stung by a jellyfish, the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.

Samba offers nice get away

Pros: Staff and willingness to help
Location: Very secure area. Not much within walking distance, plenty to do if you take a cab
Staff very good, everything was better than I expected. Very nice beach, NO hassles, very nice vacation.

Did not like water all over the bathroom floor every time we showered! I slipped and fell once !!! Even think the toilet was leaking !!!

Location: We pedal biked into Bucerias and also to Paradise Village.
Food is good. Rooms could use an update, but they are comfortable. Staff is very cooperative and they work very hard to please. I had to ask for face cloths. Internet is good in the public wifi area. Entertainment is good. Very family oriented. Lots of Spanish speaking guests. Beach is very nice. It is a smaller resort. Grounds are well kept. Great access to the bus for downtown. Stayed one week at the Samba and one week at the Marival. Both all inclusive

it's the perfect resort for a family vacation as it's a cozy and not to big resort, so you can easily watch the kids while sunbathing. Kids area isn't secluded so I really likes that

Pros: The STAFF is top notch, one of the best beach es we have been too
Cons: A place to eat without shutting down between meals
Great beach-one of the best, even better staff. Only 3 complaints-need another restaurant for variety-also long time between meals with no where to eat. Would be nice to have 1 or 2 more washrooms. Perhaps a little more entertainment- saying that it is a family oriented hotel. Spent 2 wonderful relaxing weeks here

Beautiful beach, good food, staff is wonderful..

Pros: Small, great beach,
Cons: Ala cart meals need to be easier to book. Don't close down the food in the day times, make more quacamole
We loved it there, its small and quaint. The food is good but not usually hot enough. They need to keep the birds off the buns. Really hard to get alacarte meals as they don't serve many people at a time, you need to book first thing in the morning. There were snakes in the water on our last day. There is no where to eat between 11:30 and 12:30 You need to ask for quacamole, they don't make it otherwise

bedbugs

Cons: better cleaning to avoid bedbugs situation again.
Location: visit small town about beach.
during our vacations in the hotel we experienced bedbugs bitting all over arms and legs. it really was a bad experience.

HATE IT WITH PASSION!! Do yourself a favor and don't book at Samba Vallarta in Puerto Vallarta. This place is a joke, customer service sucks, I mean SUCKS!!! Coffee tastes like mud, all their food is terrible, fake italian food, pasta taste like a milkshake mixed with chili sauce, the mexican food is gross, steak and/or pork was so hard and bloody it was literally moving, they use margarine instead of butter on anything, DISGUSTING!!! I'd rather eat taco bell for the rest of my life. Rooms in the hotel were dirty and smelled bad, hair in bathrooms, rooms are very noisy, the air conditioner sounds like an airplane engine. Dirt floating in the pool, probably from a bunch of adults and kids swimming with their clothes ON!! Yuck!! Forget getting an upgrade on the room even after giving them $100 tip. They kept lying they are booked while the restaurants were empty. Don't bother going there!! I think i covered pretty much everything, if not, my friends will for sure!! The only good part about my trip was being with my awesome friends!!

Hotel is very old

The hotel has 3 restaurants witch in fact is the same menu so if u stay there for 5 days you will eat the same food over and over again . Customer service 0 in the entire hotel, rooms are very old and smelly Definitely no stay
