Front desk is rude, aggressive, and gives out incorrect information. Towel room gives out bad open/close times.
First room: dirty towels, filthy floor, A/C only worked on highest fan setting, no do not disturb sign (housekeeping walked in while I was on the toilet), bed is so bad I thought it was a box spring, shower has original film on it with mold growing under it, curtain blocks out no light, more of a filter. The bathroom is gross. Then the ceiling leaked after the 2nd night so bad I was moved.
Second room: exposed screw points in the closet shelves, bed is equally bad, curtain is equally bad, bathroom is equally bad, new room has king size bed, when I asked for a blanket I got a twin size blanket, the slide/chain lock falls out, A/C works on any fan setting but temp cannot be adjusted, hot water is a mystery of what you will/won't get, I got sick one night (no fault of hotel) and had to call down four times for toilet paper.
Grounds - pools are nice but one was under repair, the music is far too loud and starts far too early. The beach area (which everyone has access to despite what the front desk said) is not serviced so you are on your own for drinks/food.
Manager - when I brought all of this to his attention, I got a shoulder shrug and a "well, I guess I could give you a free breakfast?" The attitude of the manager is reflective in the staff (except the maid on floor 4, and the door/bell man who were great). The whole place is doing the bare minimum.
