Pros: Everything !
Cons: Lighting in tub and sink area.
Loved our stay at Secrets,from our arrival to our leaving,everyone was very helpful,friendly,courteous,and always wanting to be of assistance.The one problem for me was the temperture of the room was to cold, also the lighting in the area of the sinks was to dim,but a small inconvenience,in light of all the positive. We have already recommended you resort to family members.Thank you for your part in creating memories for us.

Great overall experience

From check in, on, we had great time. Helpful courteous staff who remembered us from previous stay and treated us like family . All inclusive is great, restaurants each had quality meals and great customer service. Plan to return next year

Beautiful hotel on the beach

This was our 3rd time to this resort in Puerto Vallarta and will be returning! The hotel is beautiful and comfortable and the staff so friendly! After 3 years, many are family to us!

Awesome hotel with beach view.

Pros: Food, view, ocean sounds, bar. No wrist bracelets for all-inclusive. Restaurants.
Cons: Thai food at the pan-Asian restaurant. Vegetarian options (okay but not great). Wifi speeds.
Stayed here before. Excellent all around. Great good, view, ocean sounds, bar. No wrist bracelets for all-inclusive. Great Restaurants. Wifi coverage is great, but the speed is slow.

Adults acting like children

Cons: Get rid of the new general manager who brought in the Entertainment Team. The ruined the hotel.
Stayed at this hotel a few years ago for work. We flew down 50 people and a guest - with staff it was over 100 people. VERY glad it was not like this trip in Jan 2017. The hotel is very nice, clean, good staff (minus the "Entertainment Team") The thing that ruined the entire stay for my wife and I - We always do all inclusive adults only. Usually that means a quiet relaxing time by the pool during the day. Not true at this hotel. The Entertainment Team starts out with ridiculously LOUD techno music at 11am where they all "line dance" next to the pool. Followed by more loud music - the kinds you have to almost yell at the person next to you. They encourage volleyball all day and if you are sitting on the beach you can expect to be hit by the ball multiple time and not get an apology. They encourage guests to drink too much - One day they brought in a "Foam Canon" and had a mini spring break party and sprayed everyone with foam in the pool. They had a live band one day with music just as loud as a concert. We spoke to 5 couples that said they complained to the front desk and nothing was done about the noise, drinking and getting hit with volley balls. If I would have experienced this when we paid for over 100 people I would have demanded a refund. There is a reason couples go to adult only - to RELAX. I would not recommend this hotel and will never be going back.

Amazing hotel Close to airport and the beach

Some people will complain

Pros: Presentation/variety of food Comfort of bed, spaciousness of room Activities: yoga, disco Excellent service Beautiful ambience, sights and sounds
Cons: More consistent and reasonable housekeeping hours Better disk jockey in disco More reasonable prices at beautiful spa
Location: within strip of other resorts, in middle of city. Not isolated. convenient to airport easy walk/taxi ride to stores, bars many adventure tours
But they have to work hard to find something to complain about here. There are some imperfections, but no deal breakers. The extras, and the amazing staff, make up for any negatives. Love getting the upgrade from a VIP hotel. It really provides value.
