Third visit to St Regis Punta Mita

Posted Jun 1, 2015
This time we brought my parents and toddler to the resort. All in all a pleasant trip. However we did notice some service issues throughout our stay. The highlight of our return visit was Miguel the visiting fine dining GM from Cabo who always keep an eye out for us and hustled the staff to keep good service at his Las Mariettas poolside restaurant.

Beautiful resort, phenomenal staff

Posted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: Three pools, plenty of lounge chairs, good food, excellent service, beautiful property, nice rooms, pretty beach, nice assortment of activities.
Cons: Can't think of any.
The only thing more impressive than the beautiful grounds and accommodations of the St. Regis, is the staff. A culture of excellence is really apparent throughout the entire organization. From housekeeping, to the members of the butler service, everyone seems to be completely focused on creating the best customer experience possible. The property is surprising large, given the number of rooms. Consequently, one has the impression that the resort is not as crowded as it actually might be. Most of the ambient noise comes from the surf and the birds. The tree pools are large, and lounge chairs are quite abundant. No need to get up at sunrise in order to stake out a spot.

Excellent service and amenities at a luxury hotel.

Posted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: The staff and service are outstanding. All employees very friendly and outgoing.
Location: St. Regis and Four Seasons are only two facilities - close to Jack Nicklaus golf course. Very tranquil, relaxing and beautiful setting
We stayed at the Four Seasons last year, and thought we'd try the St. Regis this year. Both are outstanding facilities. Breakfast at the golf club is a must. Though the beach area at the Four Seasons is better (less rocky), we think the restaurant choices at the St. Regis are a bit better. The Carolina restaurant at St. Regis is fine dining, and doesn't disappoint. Of course, for a brisk walk or taxi ride, one can take advantage of the very good restaurants in Punta Mita (Si Senor, Blue Shrimp, Rosas) or Sufi (close to St. Regis). The butler service at St. Regis is a plus.

Pros: Beachfront Location
Location: The town of Punta de Mita had excellent restuarants.
My wife and I recently stayed at the St Regis for the first time this past week and had a excellent experience. The service was fantastic, the food and drinks were great, and the ambiance could not have been better.

Nice option in Punta Mita

Posted Oct 1, 2014
Pros: comfortable rooms.
Cons: Saturday BBQ on the beach. (sausages for 75$ is too much...)
Location: Canopy tour is a must!
A good beach hotel, nice and comfortable rooms, beautiful territory. Lots of healthy food options, excellent staff. The beach is not as sandy as it appears on the photos. Actually there are only stones if you go in the sea, and the space where you can swim is limited. Not many activities to do, mainly sunbathing and golf. I wouldn't recommend to stay long, 3-5 days is just fine! Not many dining out options in a nearby village
