All was excellent except upon arrivalPosted Aug 19, 2015
Pros: It was always clean and staff was very attentive.
Cons: Not to be mislead into purchasing an all inclusive package and find a surprise upon arrival.
Location: Sailing, fishing, jet ski at doorstep and the old downtown is 10 minutes away.
All was good until we arrived. We purchased hotel stay online as all inclusive and when we arrived we were notified that it was not all inclusive and had to pay an extra $1000.00 on the spot. So I paid the fee to avoid ruining my vacation and will be calling expedia. I am sure they will correct the problem as I use them every year for our family vacation.

Villa Del Palmar is a fantastic place to stay.Posted Aug 14, 2015
Pros: Everything! The restaurants serve many food choices and all of them are very tasty and use the freshest ingredients. Service is incredible. Very Clean
Cons: I find it very hard to come up with something.
Location: As stated above, close to the Marina Terminal for boat excursions to Yelapa, Las Caletas, Rhythms of the Night and many others.
This is our 2nd stay at this incredible resort in the past two years. It is so conveniently located to the Airport, the Marina, for all your day trip boating activities and downtown or old town locations for shopping or restaurants. Basically less than 10 peso's bus ride per person (8 cents per person) or 40 to 65 pesos for a taxi ($5 to $8). The resort is impeccably clean and the entire staff is 150% attentive to all of your requirements. I have never witnessed the positive combined team effort for everything they do. You will not find a harder working staff of employees at any resort. They made our stay in this this tropical environment even brighter than the sun that shines daily. From Alan Morelos a Guest Services manager to Gustavo at the front desk, Gabriella who spotlessly cleaned our room daily, waiters by the beach and pool pool: Miguel, Jose, Javier and Riccardo who are so attentive and get you your food or drinks in record time, every bellmen that works there for their help with everything, Susanna the hostess at several of the restaurants and Angie from the concierge desk all made our stay so warm and welcome I would not hesitate about staying again in the future and recommending it to anyone who would like to stay in a very cozy non high rise location that has numerous pools and a lovely beach that gives you everything you need to relax and enjoy yourself. If you need more everything else is extremely close by. The prices are extremely reasonable comparably.

Love PV!!!Posted Jul 26, 2015
Our 2nd time staying in this resort, once again nothing but good things to say. I love the remodeling they did to the front. Clean and colorful rooms, awesome view of the pool and some ocean view from our room. Can't wait to go back. Really recommend it, great price.

Great hotel for couples or family!!Posted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Service and super friendly staff. Safety and security of the grounds. Great pools and beach. Location to downtown and airport is perfect!
Location: Very easy to get to downtown Puerto Vallarta and see the new boardwalk. Great distance to the best tour company- Vallarta Adventures!
We loved this hotel so much the first time we stayed here a few years ago that we came back and brought friends with us. The amenities and restaurants are great but the staff and service is exceptional- they don't miss a beat!

Close to everything & right on the beachPosted Jun 8, 2015
Close to airport and right on the beach. There are shops walking distance from here and grocery stores. I understand I not every room will have a leak in the ceiling but ours did and if it had been over the need I would of been very upset, thankfully it was off to the side of the room but yes there were 3 leaks😒 once staff was made aware of the problem they were quick to remedy the problem.

Very good hotel on the beach!Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: We enjoyed the pools, easy beach access, and the onsite restaurants. This would be a great location for a "getaway" style vacation.
Cons: There were signs of some wear and tear, but the facilities staff seemed to be working hard to keep up the property.
Location: There is a lot to see and do in the area, and the hotel is a convenient place to explore the area from. Cabs are readily available as are tours.
We stayed here on the recommendation of some friends for a ten day vacation, and we were not disappointed. The hotel was generally very good. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. The resort had three wonderful pools as well as access to a semi-private beach area. There were three restaurants on the resort grounds, and the food was generally of high quality. The resort is located in a major hotel strip about a ten minute (albeit very inexpensive) cab ride from the downtown area and the "romantic zone" or old town Puerto Vallarta. The biggest drawback was the facility is a part of a time share network, and they were a bit pressured in getting you to buy into their timeshare system.
