Free breakfast and daily credits was not explained properly had to ask multiple times on how to use with 3 different answers. Despite paying for the room zero coffee or water was offered per day. Which I thought was pretty cheap. Staff at times were rude unfortunately and rushed you off the phone. After reviewing my bill saw that had I not mentioned the credit they would have charged me an extra 1000 pecos. The property itself is decent. A bit older but well kept! Some of the staff were absolutely lovely. For what I paid I don’t think I would come back.

Had small kitchenette. Convenient for breakfast and lunch. Grocery store was 10 minute walk. Buses were easily accessible for travel downtown and marina Vallarta. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Maids did a great cleaning job . Shopping mall and 3 great restaurants were a 5 minute walk. Recreation was provided e.g beach and pool volleyball, cornhole, bocce, shuffleboard. Evening there was live music and weekly casino night.

Liked the staff the most. Didn’t like that the beach security would pick and choose whose towels to remove or leave. We sat on the chairs for about 1/2an hour then went to the breakfast buffet for 45 min. They removed our towels and books while leaving others for hours. I agree with the policy but be consistent.

Clean and well organized. However dining and marketplace pricing was a reason to leave the faculty to shop as well as dining if you were not there on an all inclusive vacation.

This hotel has a great ocean location, Sandy beach, can swim in ocean lots of ocean waves. The hotel has 3 pools and a few hot tubs. It has a pretty good gym, older equipment but decient. Has a sauna and hot tub in gym area (in both Women and Mens area) I would recommend the pool away from the ocean. The other pools are noisy with families and kids and a lot of spring breakers ( we were there March 11 to 18th) This hotel is a bit run down. They are demolishing a part of it this summer 2024 to build new towers. We had some issues, no hot water at bathroom sink. Had maintenance come twice. Both times we were told we needed to turn on hot water in shower to get hot water in bathroom sink. We asked to speak with a manager , we never did get a call back. Then we had a water leak in the middle of the night, water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom. My husband slipped on water in middle of night. There was mold growing on the ceiling. They did fix the leak. Maid sevice not great. We have stayed at motel 6 with better service, we did not tip. We had a few days when we got no hand towels and no wash clothes. Most days floors were not washed, were lightly sweeped, still had sand on floor. The breakfast staff were great. We only did the all inclusive breakfast. Over all l would rate this hotel at a 3.5.

We liked the access to busing and shopping. Maid service was very good. We were not happy with the noise from neighbour property until 3 am most nights. We asked several time for a safe in our room. We had the instruction on how to use the safe but there was not safe. They promised to come to our room, but every time they never showed up. They did send two pieces of cake to our room with a note “ sorry for the inconvience”. I guess thats how the problems are solved!!!

Check-in took a very long time. The two jr. suites we had reserved were not available and what was offered initially was unsuitable for 2 families, one with a toddler. After looking at 2 more unsuitable options, 2 adjoining rooms were found. This worked out well for us but it took well over an hour to sort it out

Even though I am a member I purchased my week thru Expedia. They were entirely too eager to get me to my members update. That consumed tooooo much time! We were in the oldest part. Never got any seats by pools until late. Late night revelers at property next door and nothing but delivery/vac/garbage trucks bumping and beeping and honking at the wee hours of the morning. Very poor sound proof. The breakfast buffet was excellent (as usual) and the staff very courteous and attentive. However, if it wasn't included in the price would not have paid 40 usd. Very good food optiond off property and close by as well.

We LOVED our stay. The Activities staff was so much fun, for the adults and the kids! We did have a couple issues with checking in. We had called in a reserved our room and asked for a room on a specific floor and were told more that 3 times that it was taken care of. When we got there we were put in a whole different building and charged MORE to get what they had already promised to us!! We were incredibly let down and frustrated. While the facilities and pool and food were all wonderful the manger was a bit sketchy and frustrating. I don't know that we will be back ONLY because of this encounter.

This older, but very comfortable hotel gave us an excellent vacation. The staff are superb. It was annoying that one of the elevators in our building (#3) was out of service for a month. We found the restaurants on site expensive for what they offer, and found it annoying that people who were willing to devote a morning to visit another Villa property, to get a sales spiel for becoming Villa "members" received large discounts for services. But a good vacation, nevertheless.

We have been to this property many time. This is the first time that we noticed that the pool/beach lounge chair are taken very very early in the morning. The room we had were facing the main entrance and it gets really noisy in the morning. Otherwise all is good

Appreciated being fairly close to downtown. Enjoyed the beach and the fitness activities... plus a few others. Kudos to the hard working Activity Team. Kitchen in Junior Suite is not really adequate for cooking major meals. My biggest concern is the total lack recycling...not even a garbage can specifically for drink cans and bottles.

We’ve stayed here a number of times and return because it meets our needs. This time we requested a quiet room because one of us is recovering from a medical issue and noise was a problem for us. However, they gave us a very, very noisy room! We work in PV and needed to have a small meeting. And although we have a hotel brochure that says outside guests are welcome, the front desk was rude and adamant that their policy was, no guests. It was insulting to our guests to be denied entrance. The staff in the restaurant serving breakfast were amazing! Staff at the beach were amazing too. Some of the front desk staff were great, others were not. Cleaning staff had to be chased around just to get towels changed. I guess they were very busy. Other than these few annoyances, the hotel offers everything we need.

Booked king size bed(not available). They must of recently painted dresser(TV control,and my brochures stuck to it). They did change us room. No hot water in kitchen sink. Shower had reverse taps; however the staff, the gardening hard working staff, the aqua aerobic instructor (Leo) was excellent. It was still a pleasant stay. We are glad to have visited Puerta Vallarta
