Not what Hotel.com advertises.

Posted Jan 31, 2018 on Hotels
This resort is not what Hotel.com advertises - No Ammenities as shown on your site. Same as last time we stayed for less then half the price - the Raintree said it’s Hotel.com that was misleading and they should refund some money.

Hotel was small, quaint. Mosquitos all in our room, we both had bites all over form stating 2 nights. A maid came in and dropped off bug spray, helped a little. Shower was more like a bath tub, brown at the bottom and dead mosquitos in it. Bed clean, rest of room clean. Good area if you want to do a lot of boat excursions.

Extremely hard beds. Hot water only in the morning. Doors don't lock. "Flip" locks only. No instructions for using in room safe. Staff pretends not to understand English. Just one staff person available. Forget asking a simple question (how does the safe work)...have to wait for other people. In room coffee maker but no coffee. Room was clean. Walking distance to marina but given incorrect information how to get there.

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days. We had purchased a boat that was getting worked on at the boat yard next to the hotel. On the 3rd day my rings were stollen as well as my US dollars both were in my zippered part of my wallet in a backpack in the closet tucked away. I reported it to the front desk.. The following day I met with security which went through our way front to back. They did not believe us. I was told to check back in with security I did and was told they are done talking to me nothing was found. They were very rude about the whole thing. The hot water for taking a shower takes about 20 minutes to heat up. The property Is very run down. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

It suited my need. Very clean. My stay had no regrets. I was looking for a cheap Place because the way I look at it I'm just there to sleep. It's by the marina. Lots to do. One down fall is that's it's not ocean view but you're a five minute walk away. Staff was very nice. I was there for 2 weeks again no regrets for a 3.5 star hotel

Security a concern and no amenities

Posted Jan 16, 2017 on Hotels
Clearly an older Property and in repair. My biggest concern was hat the key to my door never worked unless a security guard assisted, and from the inside, neither the deadbolt or the chain lock worked. There was a chain but nothing to attach it to. Doesn't make for a comfortable Nights sleep for a single gal. There are also no amenities - not even a coffee pot in the single rooms. The sister resort is right across the street and is very nice...so that helps.

Clean, quiet hotel with great pool.

Pros: quietness
Location: Near marina restaurants and shops
Stayed one night while passing through vallarta. The facilities are clean, super quiet and we enjoyed the immense pool to ourselves.

An acceptable stay

Warn rooms with peeling paint and bits of stucco falling out. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning was welcomed.

Timeshare or Hotel?

Posted Jan 3, 2016 on Hotels
Property was a bit outdated but quiet location near the marina. Marina has a nice boardwalk which is easy to get to. The room itself: beds were uncomfortable and took forever to get warm water running in the shower. A nice view though and free WiFi in the lobby, which was nice--a bit overpriced after talking to the locals but suppose it was due to the holiday. This is/was a timeshare property but you wouldn't know it.

If you book the 4th floor it's gorgeous. Other rooms are old but clean. Looks like they've updated some rooms. There are no elevator. All activities, beach and restaurants are across the street at Club Regina. They have an outstanding staff!
