Wonderful 3 nights stay in late Oct. Super friendly staff - Sofie and the gentleman (forgot his name) at the front desk, Oscar and others who work at food services. Their hospitality were better than I had ever got at 5 star hotels - Thank you!! There was remodeling work being done in a building near the pool when we were there, which I understand was necessary to upgrade this cute little resort. We spent most of our day at the beach lounger by the ocean, so the ocean sound helps cover up the noise. Beach loungers were very comfy with cushions under palapa. We had great messages on the lounger. Staff worked hard keeping all areas very clean, even on the first day after the hurricane passing by. We liked that the resort is tuck away in the north end. But only 10 to 20 minutes walk south to area restaurants. We loved Sukah Beach House for dinner, less than 5 minutes walk to the north; went there twice. For breakfast and afternoon treats, really no need to go anywhere, we prefer staying at Vista, good menu, great prices, happy hours and fantastic service. Love our stay in the Jr. Suite, modern, spacious and with beautiful view, just perfect! No kitchen, only with a coffee maker and small fridge, which was fine for us as I found no reasons to do any cooking. The beach in front of the resort is rocky in some areas, but it is silky smooth once you get pass the surf break point.
