"I really had a great time at Club Barbara. I was impressed with the cleanliness everywhere - the bar area, the grounds, the pool etc. It is a lovely setting, overlooking the sea, at the quiet end of Villanova which was quiet anyway in September. "Basic but spacious apartment. Ten minutes walk to the centre of Vieste, and less than five mins walk to a beautiful beach! However the apartment is noisy, you can hear noise from other apartments and from vehicles on the street at night."

Disappointing stay
"We arrived at 11 PM and had to pay an extra €20 for the housekeeper tower us in,despite us informing the owner that we would be late. The shower was lukewarm, there was no toiletries in the bathroom, no welcome pack, no coffee or tea and we did not sleep well as the fridge was noisy all night long. ..."
