Great location on the main square of Punta Arenas so pretty easy to walk to almost anywhere in the town centre. Arrived very late (2330) and although the bar was closed was recommended somewhere else but instead chose to grab a couple of beers from reception. Public areas are lovely, well-maintained, and have a somewhat Scandinavian feel to them. The bedrooms are ok although I did have a problem finding a plug socket I could use (ended up unplugging the TV). Clean, tidy, spacious, and a great view on to the main square. Bathroom ok but water on first night rather tepid. Breakfast is what really let's this hotel down. A rather dull affair with little imagination put in to their offerings. Staff rather surly and coffee/tea in conference flasks (could have been left stewing for hours as it really was pretty awful). Other small problem is the building work currently taking place next door which is an extension to the hotel - it's not a major problem, but I may have considered elsewhere if I'd known in advance!
