The area is so relaxing and you are an easy drive to some of Sicily’s popular attractions like Modica, Scicli, Ragusa or an afternoon visiting the beautiful Castillo de Donnafugata. “In the old town, easy to walk to attractions. Rental car’s navigation took us to a very narrow street, we should have followed the instructions from the hotel email. Hotel manager came out, sat in our car and directed us to the right place to park. ”

We were offered both sweet and savoury items, including home-made ricotta that arrived warm inside a bamboo tube and a mulberry granita. It was very special.
