Great hotel with everything very conveient

Pros: Conveniences, Beach was great, Staff was extremely fun and friendly.
Cons: I wouldn't change a thing. We are thinking of going back and even want to request the same room!!!
Location: Like any Caribbean vacation you have to travel a little to get to the off-site activities. Just about everything is within 20 minutes of the resort..
Wonderful resort, not overcrowded and very relaxing. Lots of daily activities at the resort or the sister resort. By far the best vacation we have had in the Caribbean.

We stay in this hotel for a second time. We like location of the hotel, close to the beach, quiet atmosphere, good selection of the food, friendly staff.

amazing location and beach, but poor service.

Pros: facilities and location. The beach was the best
Cons: service, food quality.
Location: there is not much to do outside the hotel, but you can rent a car and drive to other towns and cities that are also interesting or take an excursion.
The facilities of this hotel are incredible. The beach and pool are amazing. There is always space at the beach and in general very quiet. Many activities during the day and night, it offers everything to every kind of public. However, the service is very disappointing together with the quality of the food and drinks being served.

Worst attitude, unpleasant vacation

Pros: Just the night restaurants and the layout
Cons: a lot: _ work with your stuff so they can really give the customer a goo experience.
Location: COCOBONGO espectacular!!!
I'm very disappointed of Expedia and the Hotel. i have to said that I'm a very organized guy and like to plan ahead to enjoy my free time, specially when im paying for it. This vacation wasn't was i have expected because EXPEDIA and the hotel BARCELO BAVARO BEACH worked together to get the money we paid with the minimum effort. This is why ILL NEVER comeback to this hotel : - we booked our trip ( All inclusive on February ) to celebrate our birthdays, and the whole reason to booked an ADULT ONLY resort, was because we want to have an adult vacation, off course we have selected the room with a KING SIZE bed instead of two doubles because of that. Everything went well until they gave us the room and oh! surprise, it was two doubles. when we raise our disappointment, the hotel told us, they only would give us a king size bed in the room depending on the Hotel availibility of that kind of room, so you can imagine me and my wife putting the double beds together to keep our romantic vacation intact. - Buffet was always the same, we asked for a blended juice, and stuff always give us attitude - Nacho Chips were the same whole 5 days they were cold all the time. - Glasses were always smelly and never very well clean. - TV was old and never work properly as same as AC. - They have people hammering the floor very early, we could ever sleep. - Night restaurants were the best of the hotel

Pros: the pool and beach
Cons: the staff should be friendlier and way more attentive. If you speak english, most of them have attitudes.
Location: coco bongo
The resort itsself was beautiful but the prices were too much, the hotel gives you no information about what is available in your package, and the staff was not friendly.

Excelent view and experience. I'm in love with that hotel. I will never forget the restaurant El Caribe they got the best food ever.
