Annication... Anniversary and Vacation

We spent 14 days there. We enjoyed the shows, the restaurants were great especially the Japanese, French, Italian, and Chez Gourmet were our favorite. Transportation between hotels and golf course was excellent. Beach was the bomb. Security at the beach good. We didn't get bothered. Good staff to provide to provide information and accommodation. However, beer was not cold at anytime unless you put it yourself on ice. Wine was something left to be desired but drinkable. Room service was good and champagne didn't give you a headache.

Beautiful Hotel

Pros: The hotel was pretty. Good variety of food although I thought it needed more Dominican meals and activities.
Cons: The resort was way too big but I hear that's how most resort in Punta Cana are. Sometimes it isn't about quantity but quality. Also adult activities.
Location: Location was good. I would go back with my family.
The top of the line was service. Franklin the manager at El Caribe was very pleasant and accommodating. The front staff ladies were TOP of the line, think her name started with G. She found us a cab very last minute and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. It was relaxing and a good time for us.

What was booked was not received.

Service was not great until tipping was involved. What was booked was not received. There was a bait and switch on alcohol. The entire stay was definitely not more than about a 3.8. The resort was large and there were numerous things to do at the resort.

Location, safety, luxury

My husband and I just got back from Punta Cana. We celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary and we stayed at the Barcelo Adults Only Resort. We loved the experience, the resort, staff and location. Great place to escape from our everyday life and without the children. Definitely we will be going again to Barcelo Resort!!

Everything was perfect😊 We stayed for 6 days and enjoyed a lot ... everything was very good .... beach , pool, rooms, service, restaurants .... the staff was very respectful ... We want to come back here again.

The staff was friendly through my stay. I wish there would have been more authentic foods available. In the restaurants staff was very friendly and provides excellent service. the beach was very clean and easily accessible.
