Our staying was affected by hurricane Maria, so the weather was disgusting. Evrithing else was perfect.

On the beach hotel

We enjoyed our stay there overall. However, hard to communicate with staff sometimes. Those who worked in the specialty restaurants usually didn't speak English so it was difficult to ask any questions. Food at buffet was usually just warm never hot some of it was good. Beach was amazing and always had plenty of chairs. No snorkeling there though due to seaweed. First night there had to ask them to come drain the jacuzzi because the plug didn't come out. When we got back our bedside table drawers were all pulled out so I would recommend always using the safe. Excursions offered were all great and we had good time!

In the same way, we do apologize for the technical problems you encountered; there are absolutely no excuses for details to be overlooked as all rooms should be thoroughly checked on a daily basis. However, we do not seem to find records that our staff had been made aware of that while staying with us; naturally we would have changed you to another room. Nice Resort

Pros: The staff was amazing, especially the guys bartending in the sports bar. The pool was huge and it had a nice beach.
Cons: The food needs to be improved, I barely ate anything while there and no pants to restaurants.
Location: Adventure Boogies no fun, you can't go fast or have fun.U had to stay in line & made 4 stops, ea 1 they tried to sell you something. Do the booze cruz
The resort was nice and the staff was welcoming and very nice, we had a lot of fun. The food was the worst part of the trip, it was terrible, no flavor and even the restaurants you had to make reservations at had bad food and on top of that you had to wear pants to almost every restaurant. It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't so hot and the AC didn't work as well as I would've liked. Offsite the town was trashed, buildings unfinished and everyone is trying to pull a hustle on you. Probably my last trip to the DR.

Beautiful hotel this lite paradise

Pros: the comfort and pool
Cons: the natural drink is to be more Natural and pure
Location: is very long wait front the hotel and the room, bat you can use the train

I enjoyed my vacation tremendously. The food and staff was great . My only complaint was the excursions that were offered by the hotel.

Amazing couples stay

Barcelo has to be he best resort I've ever been to in Punta Cana. I've been to a lot with family since my family is of Dominican decent. But this one is by far the best. The best part was that it's ALL INCLUSIVE. It literally makes you not think of wasting money on food and drinks. Room: clean and very attentive to detail. There is also a balcony with a hot tub which my boyfriend and I used almost every night. The beds could be a little more on the comfort side though. Service: Service was great and staff members were always friendly and helpful. I got sick during my stay and a staff member made sure I was feeling better. Beach: the view of the beach was AMAZING. Literally looked out of a pamphlet. Only critique that I have of this beach is that it is not cleaned by the staff. There are lots of shells and debris around the sand that makes it hard to walk barefoot. If you want a nice clear beach, this beach is not for you. Pool: there were several pools on the resort and they were spectacular. They closed very late, so a late night swim is a must. The pool bar was also what got us enjoying that pool a little more. There is also an adults only pool which my boyfriend and I found more enjoyable. Food: the buffet was almost always open throughout the day and the food was very good. There was a lot of variety and the staff was very friendly whenever you had a request. Also if you want to go to the private restaurants make sure you bring long pants.
