I was cat-call more than 3 times by staff

Pros: That was beside the beach.
Cons: Change personnel or train them to keep their obscene comments to the self we are customers aren't princess or mammies or dolls to any of your employee
Location: Far from everything nothing to do nearby unless you take a ridiculous expensive taxi or the public transport
Abusive personnel, I was cat-call more than 3 times inside the hotel, no options for vegetarians even the salads had meet or pork or something, the beach was loud all the time no peace music at all times, the room have a broken toilet out of 7 days 4i had to call to be repaired they didn't even suggest a change room. The markets are cheap nothing fancy neither good quality on top expensive.

Disappointing customer service

We are family with 3 kids and booked 2 rooms.I made a special request long before arriving to have adjacent rooms. When we checked in they gave us 2 rooms on the same floor but not even next to each other. When I asked about 2 rooms with the door between they said that it doesn't exist which was definitely a lie because we had a room like this last year when we visited. Can you imagine running with 3 kids from one room to the other on the floor? When we had a leak from the ceiling and half of the room had water on the floor for almost a day they told us we need to change the room with leak. I begged them to move the 2 rooms and not just the one what had a problem. Josephine from guest service was so kind and she transferred us together into 2 rooms with the door between (i does exist in the property). The rest on the vacation went well if not to remember the first 2 days.

Beautiful grounds and red brick walkways

Pros: Plenty of good food and variety of choices. The weather in this location has always been very reliable. Check-in went well. Bell-boys were energetic.
Cons: Staff a bit slow in serving, often because they are in constantly in conversation with other staff while on the job.
Location: About a mile back up the road, there is a local shopping area. Also some great restaurants in the town of Bayahibe a few more miles away.
We spent a week at the beach. Most guests are French or Italian.

Nit so plrasant experience

When i booked the hotel i requested swim pool view room instead i got one that was looking across another building. Also because i have 2 children i wanted room close by the beach, the room that was given to us was closeer to the beach but we had to walk appropriately 50 meters so se had to use the balcony door because it was closer to get to the beach from there. We were supposed to get free internet,but was not working so wr had to pay for it. The sink was broken...it rained cople of times, thr umbrella was broken...tv didn't work for couple days... The ac broke and there was water all over... i didn't see the water and as i was walking to the bathrooms i slip and fell, almost broke mu arm...overall bit so good experience

close to the beach

Upon arrival the hotel front desk staff was very welcoming, when we got checked in to our room , the room we booked was not what we had seen in the photos, the room was very run down and dirty, so we asked for them to move us rooms, after speaking with the front desk manager who was very helpful (1hour later ) we where moved. The food at the resort was mediocre and could have better food for what you pay, you will be asked to upgrade to VIP and have to pay extra on top of your stay. Overall I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family. Unless you book a presidential suite.

perfect stay until you have to interact with staff

Pros: Nice ocean, lots of activities. The staff was trying to engage people in the group activities.
Cons: staff at the lobby who feels that they do not need to help us because we "have to talk to "representative" of our agency " - that's what we were told
Location: The hotel offers enough activities so we saw no necessity to leave the hotel but they do offer daily trips
nice hotel, ocean is perfect - not too much waves (we are not good swimmers). Food is ok - the choice for breakfast could be better. The staff does not speak English but the hotel has daily Spanish lessons. We came 5 am in the morning. We were told we are being "upgraded" to a better room which was complete joke because instead of standard pool view room, we got a room with a balcony facing other balconies. And in order to get to the room we had to go through long hallway facing the jungle... The next day we asked to be "downgraded" to the standard room and we got it and even the ocean view. and after being bounced from one person to another we finally got to one person who was able to help. So we came in at 5am on the night flight on the first day and the phone calls to the rooms started at probably 7am. Then I finally got to the phone it was somebody telling I have to come to the front dest to get the introduction to the hotel. I told we are not going anywhere, and the person again called us the next day at 7am (so 6am eastern time). I agreed to come to front desk just to look into the eyes of the person who calls people during their vacation - he said he would be at the front dest at 9am and of course there was nobody waiting for us in the lobby. so still a mystery who was it. somebody of the staff told us it might be a person trying to sell some day trip. The people are trying to up sell the dinner reservation and the trips that can get annoying sometimes.

Similar to a Motel 6...

Amount to pay for WiFi is crazy. My room was dirty.. Bathroom tile was black with mold. They never changed my sheets and pillow cases. They just made up the bed along with my makeup on the pillow cases. Food is terrible. They don't supply resort stores with change so you have to find change in order to make a purchase.. Did I mention that food was terrible... If eating the same thing every day, it should at least be good. No credit card machines. They want to write down your card information.

Birthday weekend gone wrong

My visit for the first time in punta cana was ok i enjoyed the scenery outside of my room and also on the beach and outside of the hotel.one of the servers victor was awesome i applaud him.My room stay was terrible the tiolet bowls was yellow and nasty,the outlet didn't work,there wasn't any wash clothes only long ones,the lounge chairs was dirty,the room floor was dirty,it was dust all over the lamps,the shower stopped working,there was a ripped placement around the refigerator all of these things we complained about we asked to get a new room and never moved i spoke to the manager but by then it was two days left to leave i was over it

Wouldn't recommend staying here

We travel often, we just ask for clean room and we will find stuff to do outside... well this room was awful, mold on ceiling and water marks from water leaking, i had to sanitize the floors lyself because the floor was dirty (plenty of hair, sand, dust and all the clorox wipes were black after use), second day housekeeping left ZERO towels in ours rooms (0 big and 0 small towels), sheets weren't changed just beds were made. Staff was rude, sometimes during dinner we wouldn't even get approached at our table to get water or order something to drink, if someone came to pour us water, they would do it while looking somewhere else and walking away (I'd say Gracias and hear nothing back), tipping staff didn't help either. beach was small, lounge chairs almost by the water, food wasn't great, i made reservations on Wednesday and only 1 restaurant was availanle - soonest japanese on Friday 6:30, nothing else... overall very disappointed with quality, staff, ROOM. Would not return. Overall extremely disappointed and the only good thing about the hotel was Maribel from the entertainment team - always so nice, smiling and a simple hello made us feel welcome

Great service, beautiful beach

It's really a very nice hotel, everyone is very nice and helpful, the food is great and you can find what to eat and drink 24 hours, - beautiful pool and beach!! You easily fall in love with it!!
