Caribe club princess

My stay was great for the price. The all inclusive food was ok. The first room they gave me was dirty, stuffy and in a dark corner. I complained to the front desk and they were able to get me a way nicer room.

Worst resort I have every stayed in

I TRULY hope this review can help someone considering this resort. 1. We had no hot water or working shower for three days 2. Toilet did not work 3. The food was the worst I have ever seen or experienced. I understand it will not be the best at an all inclusive but this was unacceptable 4. The entire resort lost power for several hours during the night leaving us with no AC, no lights, no television. I have never heard of an entire resort losing power 5. Overal the resort is VERY dated. We had to pay for day passes to go to the Hard Rock Hotel everyday for 100pp. Well worth it!! The food is amazing there and the property is first class!! In the end you get what you pay for. I will never make this mistake again.

Ugh!!

The hotel staff was great except for the cleaning staff. Our rooms were made late into the afternoon and our sheets were never changed. The beds were a big disappointment and the bathroom glass door was about to fall apart. Also, I observed 3 cockroaches in my room. The reception staff, catering staff and entertainment staff were A+++++. The resort tries to sell you a Timeshare and with all the timeshares they sell; I don't see how they can't use that money to revamp the resort. I loved its proximity to the airport however I will never stay at the resort again.

Nice hotel and great Kids club

Since the Tropical Princess was overbooked they moved us to the 5 star Bavaro Princess, what a luck we had !. We fully enjoyed our 3 days in Bavaro Princess. the beach is beautiful and the rooms as well, very spacious. We loved the Kids club , basically spent most of our time there. The staff was amazing , especially Alexandra she let my son take over the mini disco with his enthusiasm and guided him well through all of it. And my niece she prepared for the Lion king show and she had so much fun !! She is truly an asset to the Animation staff. We fully enjoyed our days and will recommend the hotel to others for sure !

Good resort. Comparable to every other resort down there. No real benefit to an upgraded suite. Not substantially better than a normal room and you're rarely in the room.

STAY AWAY

Pros: Food at buffet was good at best. The grounds were well kept. The activity staff very friendly and provided a lot of fun activities for all ages.
Location: Never ventured outside the hotel, as this was not our first time in DR. Was there more the relaxation, and never got it with all the complaining.
I can't list all the wrongs with this hotel because there's not enough of room.....so I will list the bigger ones. Major one NO HOT WATER at all had to take cold showers all week. Made hotel aware of situation numerous times and nothing was ever done. You needed to get up at 5 a.m. to get a good seat location on the beach because people start reserving spots, who the hell wants to do that on their vacation. Food was ok, portions were terribly small at the specialty restaurants that we had to go to buffet after. The pool always ran out of towels, so trying to get a dry one was out of the question. When towels did arrive, it was a made dash to the station to get them. Lobby says that it has free Wi-Fi, but it was spotty at best. Need to pay for the good stuff. Even though we were not on our honeymoon, we were on our second anniversary celebration, so we got the honeymoon suite. The package was suppose to include a fruit basket upon arrival, a bottle of rum in the room, a stocked daily mini bar, and breakfast in the room one day. We emptied the bar of beer on the first night ( which was only 3 beer cans), and it never got replenished the rest of the week. We called about the fruit and rum everyday, and never got anything. Ordered breakfast and it never came, so had to go to the buffet. The room also came with a jacuzzi on the second floor of our suite, room was nice, don't get me wrong, but with no hot water, who wants to take a cold jacuzzi bath.

Great for the price

Pros: Beautiful beach. Great swim up bar.
Cons: The bed was a bit uncomfortable.
Location: I wish we would have gone up town to shop or bar hop and mixed it up with the locals. We did go on the snorkel party boat and that was a blast.
Very nice for the price. The grounds are immaculate. The staff is very nice and always asking if there is something you need. The food is decent, not 5 star, but for the price we paid I cannot complain. We ALWAYS felt safe there and the beach vendors were not aggressive like many places in the Caribbean or Central America.

Great hotel

I had the two floor suite. The room was AWESOME. The staff were friendly. The food was great. Will be back again in two months
