Very nice hotel aways from everything.Posted Aug 19, 2015
Cons: read above
Nice idea for a luxurious resort but it soon gets complicated however. You are really far away from everything and the little golf cars you need to use for everything are very very old. Annoying things like you get charged 13 dollars for plain water did not help either. Since you are secluded inside this huge complex, there are none other available choices around but pay that or go thirsty. Worst, the quality of the food is not up to the cost or expectations. Bland and ordinary. Staff is very friendly but the charm this place must have is lost in the prices and unnecessary complications similar to the cheaper all-inclusive joints. You need to reserve for dinners for example even if the place is empty. The beach is very nice looking but the sand turns to a gravel-like floor once you step into the water! More for looking than anything else. Go to Cancun!

It´s is a very good hotel, but food and drinks are extremely expensive. Also the beach is about 1.5 miles from the hotel. If you like golf is excellent.

A place to go again and again.Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: The expansive areas and gardening, horseback riding, peace and quiet even with many options for endless activities.
Cons: Rooms could be updated keeping the character they now have.
Location: La Marina, Altos de Chavon and Playa Minitas are the 3 main nearby attractions withing the huge compound.
Casa de Campo Hotel is a very pleasant place to stay, curteous, with access to many sports options, splendid restaurants, and places to visit La Marina and Altos de Chavon. Also a serene place seemingly quiet and relaxed, allowing for alternation between rest and activities. It's a pleasue to stay there even if the facilities seem now a bit outdated compared to other more updated resorts, even so a place that some would like to visit again ana again.

Happy GuestPosted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: The customer service is exceptional. All staff members are always willing to help and complex security is amazing at any time of the day. Very safe!
Cons: Price is really high compared to other resorts in the area at the same level of quality.
Very nice and open complex that allows for freedom for us to move anywhere and still enjoy the comfort of a resort.
