One week stay

Pros: see above
Cons: helping seniors get around a little better More employees speaking better English So spread out..would be nice to have more restrooms available
Beautiful grounds/pool/spa/ beach. Wonderful food at buffets. Too long of a wait for dinner at restaurants/ eating too late. Problems in room {plugs didn't work, bulb out, no facecloths) taken care of that day. Walking difficult for seniors...stone with cement...uneven paths. A 2nd train would have helped to cut down our waiting time. We requested rooms next to our dear friends well ahead of our visit there...they ignored the request and we were put in 2 different units.

Pros: The staff was very nice and main lobby kept very well. Food was good.
Cons: It would have been very helpful if at least some of the staff new the American language - it truly was hard to even order drinks, etc.
Location: Location was beautiful as the grounds were just so nice. Beach was also beautiful and loved the beach restaurant.
We were with 3 other couples and tried thru the hotel by email and even had Expedia try to see if we could have rooms in the same building or at least close and when we got there found it had not been done. One of the couples were already there and they did get us closer but the area is so large we were really not very close. Our tv did not work upon arrival and neither did the refridgerator. They also had to reset air conditioning as it was very cold on arrival. We also did not have any hot water for the shower for the first couple of days.

Overall a great stay. Location, service, friendly staff, beach, hotel entertainment all excellent! Ala carte restaurants very busy at night. Casino small, great food variety but food quality just ok overall. Would definitely go back

My husband, 2 children (17 & 14) and myself booked a very last minute 3 night New Years Eve trip. I am a very positive person so I will start with the good. Check in was very quick and easy, our room was not ready but that's ok because it was early. They held our bags, we had lunch and the room was ready before 3:00. We had 2 rooms and they were lovely. The grounds very nice. Pools and beach were great.. Mini golf, tennis, volleyball etc all good. Now for the ok. I have been to a couple of all inclusive hotels and here The food was just mediocre. You could always find something but it just was not great. As nice as the rooms were the shower did not get hot, just warm. Now the bad. The service was just not good. there were a few exceptions but for the most part the staff really didn't seem to care. When you sat for lunch we would be half way done eating before we could get someone's attention for a drink, You had to flag someone down and then we would be finished eating before the drink arrived . When you went to the bar they practically ignored you while they were just talking to their co-workers. We were told you could not make reservations at the al a cart restaurants but when we showed up at the hibachi we were told we needed a reservation. The next night we confirmed that no reservation was needed for the steak house but when we showed up they told us it was full for the night. People had been waiting outside the restaurant for 2 hours for their table. We then wanted t

Pretty place to stay.

Cons: Food and Room Keys
The Resort was beautiful and clean. The Buffet was horrible, ending up getting Food Posioning. Had to get Room Key replaced 4 times it just quit working almost everytime we left our room, no it was not because it was by another electronic device I had it in my hand walked to room with new key did not work had to walk all the way back to the lobby for another not fun way to end a day.

Nice BIG hotel

Nice hotel, great beach and many pools, but you need to consider that you will have to walk. Many restaurants to enjoy great food.

Great resort, beautiful grounds

Pros: The landscaping and grounds were beautiful.
Cons: I would have liked smaller bottles of water left in the room. The large ones are harder to take with you to the beach.
Location: We stayed at the resort most of the time. Did a dune buggy tour that was a ton of fun just be prepared to come back completely covered in mud!
We just returned from 5 night stay. Very spacious room, beautiful grounds, lovely beach. The food was very typical of all inclusive fare - buffets were similar most days and the ala carte menus were good. Our favorite was the Japanese steakhouse - lots of food and fun entertainment. Overall a very good experience!

Great Hotel on Beach

Pros: Facilities, range of restaurants, and bars. Scenery.
Cons: the bed was terribly hard.
Location: Located on amazing beach / ocean.
We enjoyed this vast resort, as it gave many options for dining, drinking, and entertainment, by having access to all 3 resorts on property. We loved hanging out w/ the Amigos @ The Sports Bar! Carlos and Contine.

Nice hotel and beautiful gardens. Nice clean beach. If you looking for a quiet beach, it's not a place for you. The staff it's generally nice but slow, very slow. You gonna have to wait for your coffee in the morning... and everything else you need. For example when we arrive at this hotel they give us a room without functional A/C. After 10 phones calls, 6 visits at the lobby... we have finally another room à midnight... after 6 hours.
