Nice image but improvements needed

Posted Jul 26, 2016
I enjoyed the country and the hotel is beautiful visually but needs some attention to details. Room felt standard- no art on wall, furniture soiled, no draws and ice machine not working in unit so had to walk. Room left a lot to be desired. Concierge nice. Pool bar great. Shuttle on campus sketchy. Was let off in middle of no where and could not find a shuttle to go to the Royal nor proper directional signs. Need better shuttle service. Disco Dj did not know how to mix. Drinks at some bars taste like medicine. Daily signature drinks would have been nice. Lots of restaurant options but enjoyed the ale cart meals as well. Beautiful property!!!!! No one able to share the history and significance of the statues or history of DR. Wished for more but made the most of the experience.

I REQUESTED A ROOM AROUND VILLA 22 AREA (I`M A FREQUENT GUEST OF THIS RESORT, THIS WAS MY 8 TIMES THERE) AT THE CHECK IN THEY SURPRISE ME WITH A UPGRADE ROOM TO A ROYAL SUITE ROOM. Excellent finish to a Rough Start

Posted Jul 25, 2016
Pros: The staff was friendly, it is close to the beach, the Royal Suites had a great vibe, the spa staff was skilled and pleasant, plenty of activities
Cons: The communication between the resorts need much improvement, particularly for checkins and restaurant reservations
Location: The resort is right on the beach, there are local restaurants that you can walk to, casino onsite and lots of activities on and off resort
I booked this resort for 2 days and 3 nights. My ONLY complaint is for the first night. We arrived at the Bavaro Lobby around 3:30p, I was told that I wouldn't be able to check in before 3, so I figured we arrived in good time. When I arrived, the lobby was chaos... which was understandable since people are checking in and checking out and going all over, etc... The staff was unable to find my reservation, it took almost 45 minutes to finally determine that I had been upgraded and they were able to track down my reservation. After that, it took close to another hour for me to finally get to my room. We were upgraded to the Royal suites. From the moment I walked in, I never wanted to leave! The lobby had a completely different feel, there were fountains that you could hear, there were clean white uniforms, lots of windows with natural light, calming music... I basically walked into a spa. It was amazing. We got checked in and King showed us around the important parts of the resort. The first two restaurants were not delicious, but the two restaurants exclusive to the Royal Suites were great. Paul helped us to find several activities, we did the Adventure Boogie Dune Boogies and it was amazing... we ending up being filthy and we LOVED IT. Melky checked in to see how our check in was and I immediately adored her. She is professional, straight to the point and pleasant. I told her about my initial check in and they worked hard to change that impression... and was successful!

Nice relaxing tropical destination

Posted Jul 23, 2016
The resort was nice and upscale looking. The rooms are on the small side and there isn't much to do after 11pm if you have kids. Nice place for relaxing and a quiet vacation. They had activities on the beach like boat rides and parasailing but the pool area was not very lively besides the foam party and the guys like the girl dance contests.

Worse hotel I have ever being in Dominican Republi

Posted Jul 18, 2016
The staff has no clue how to deal with turists and their expectations. It's a shame. Please send then all to Paradiso Palma Real to learn something from them. A lot people of the staff underperform just to get sone extra money from you. It s not an all inclusive hotel. In the other hand the are no reservations in any restaurant. You have to spend hours in line to get in or... pay them to get in ! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Frustrating, horrible!

Excelente ubicacion y instalaciones.

Posted Jul 15, 2016
