Nice Resort

Pros: The animation team were the best, the called them selves "POP" team: Nathali, Edy, Liliana, and Aramis, were always very nice.
Cons: It needs a better transportation system. The resort needs better maps on the walk ways to show guests the routes to get to the different places.
Overall we had a great time. The resort needs some improvements in transportation, and the restaurants reservations.

Disappointed with Restaurant situation

We went to this hotel as a birthday gift to my best friend. The hotel boast 13 facilities where we could eat HOWEVER the reservation process was terrible. The first night we arrived at the Japanese restaurant (at 7pm) we were told they could not seat us and that they were no longer taking reservations.We were advised by the host to come back the next day at 5pm to make reservation. We did, but so did 50 other guests. So there was a long line waiting to make reservation. When we eventually got to the front of the line we were told again that they are completely booked. We had no choice at that point to have the buffet food in the All American restaurant. This happened 4 out of the 6 nights we were there. When we tried to tell the manager in the lobby he only apologized.It happened in several restaurants. Another issue was with bathroom sink , the water was not going down and the sink often times overflowed. I called room service (everyday) to come and fix it and they never came once. We stayed in the hotel for 6 days. These experience made the vacation bad. We are thinking to go back to Punta Cana in Sept but maybe a better hotel that will treat us goodI was thinking to give the hotel another try in Sept because the staff were generally nice and I wanted to be able to recommend the facility it to my staff as a good vacation spot. However unless the manager made a decent offer and can assure me that i wouldnt be having the same issues again then I'll take my business else whe

Nice hotel fabulous beach

Pros: Everything
One of our best stay. We traveled four different continents. Punta Cana is among the top. Facility is good and maintain. Water was warm. Pool was good. Entertainment was nice. Food - it depends. Some of the restaurant was mis-manasged and some are really nice. Bit English is required for person working or We should had learned Spanish. Though people were really nice.

Pros: The room was nice.
Cons: Venders on the beach every couple of minutes! So Annoying! Staff so unfriendly! Room Service! Buffet food horrible! Waiting over hour for a la carte.
WOW! Guys this place is really bad! We stayed here 10 days. This is my 5th all inclusive vacation. I actually stayed at this same resort 2 years ago. Then it was ok, and we came back because of the cheaper price. Big mistake. This place has really went downhill! Biggest problems: The staff is so unfriendly! It's like they just don't care. Some bars were ok, most would practically ignore the guest, taking forever to serve drinks. 2nd worst problem is the food quality. The a la carte restaurants were just ok, but the buffet food was seriously disgusting. I think I lost weight because I couldn't stomach the buffet breakfast and lunch anymore. Every evening for the a la carte restaurants, there was a least an hour wait. To beat the crowd, get there an hour early but you'll still be waiting the hour. 3rd worse problem is room service. We tipped from day 1, but they miss 4 days of room service, even after calling the front desk. No one cared. Also after my first night lying in the sheets, I developed a full body rash! Thank god I brought some Benadryl. Day 2, the hinge on the glass door to the bathroom came off and shattered all over me, our room was covered in glass, they got most of it up, but still had to walk around with sandals the rest of the time because we kept finding glass. And the hotel tried to make us pay for that! The seaweed was bad some days, good some days. 4th worst problem: venders on the beach! We had a vender approach us every couple of minutes every single day

The palladium bavaro is a nice resort to stay. Only thing i didnt like was that it doesnt have room service but besides that everything vas good. Good food. Staff are gentle and very friendly. Overall was a really nice stay.

Pros: Access to beach, pools and restaurants. Staff was excellent.
Cons: Check-in was painfully long and seemingly unnecessarily drawn out. With reservations, one should be able to present at the desk and be done quickly.
Location: Walk (or ride the train or courtesy carts) to beach and pools. Many restaurants on site accessible on foot or free transportation.
The room and all facilities were clean and comfortable, and the staff was helpful and courteous. Food was plentiful and of good quality. Access to beach and pools was good. Check-in was tedious, and took entirely too long (about 90 minutes). There was pressure to purchase extras, such as remote excursions and activities.

We planned to stay at one part of the resort but the moment we checked in they upgraded us to the adult only section. The resort itself is gigantic. Maybe too big. It's easy to get lost. Overall it was great experience.

Service is quite inadequate at this hotel. We called reception about 5 times for a crib and for someone to check on the air conditioner (it would only stay on if we left the door to the room OPEN). Every time we called they would say they would send the crib and send someone to check on the AC and that never happened. We gave up after 2 days and didn't ever get a crib and the AC only got fixed after we happened to encounter a technician at the villa and asked him to please take a look. expect to waste 3 hours of your time waiting to be seated and to be served at some of the a la carte restaurants. The concierge staff was overall the most helpful.

Mediocre honeymoon and slightly overpriced

Cons: More friendly staff, better food, better system for restaurant reservations
Location: The location was fine. We only walked on the beach. If you go right there are a bunch of shops and you will be harassed. Go left and there are resorts
During booking there was an option to upgrade your room which we did. We chose the Junior luxury suite which had a jacuzzi and sun bed on the balcony, choosing this option we paid an extra $40/night. We called the resort the day before checkin to inform them this was our honeymoon and if we could request an ocean view suite that would be appreciated. When we arrived to check in they could not find our reservation. we had to wait 20 minutes for them to find it and they told us they "upgraded" us. They took us to the VIP section and showed us the new room, there was no balcony and no ocean view. We complained and told them we wanted the room we paid extra for when booking. After about 2 hours of trying to communicate this to them and switching rooms we FINALLY made it to the room that we booked. Once in the room that we booked it was fantastic, exactly like the pictures on the internet. The staff were not very helpful and very few spoke english, it was very hard to communicate. The food at the buffet was decent, basically what you expect. The other restaurants were NOT worth it. During our week stay we tried 5 different restaurants, Bamboo, the mexican, italian, steakhouse and the Japanese restaurant. The only one worth going was the Japanese restaurant, but you have to wait for over an hour before the restaurant opens to hopefully get a reservation for later that night. Oh, and DO NOT GET THE SUSHI. Beach was nice, there were limited huts so go early to reserve your spot.

Nice place to stay!

The management was excellent and help solve any issues we had. It is advisable to learn Spanish or bring a translator to help with any major issues but the overall experience was incredible. White sand beaches bars every 100 meters and smiles galore. My wife and I tried almost everything they had to offer and where never dissatisfied in the least.
