nice hotel that's close to the beach

Pros: I like everything about the resort. I also liked that I had good wifi in almost every area that I went.
Cons: more fans in the lobby to keep the place cooler, it was very hot and humid in the lobby
Location: la hacienda
the hotel is very nice. the staff is very friendly and helps you out with all your needs. I like that the staff didn't really bug you for tips. the resort is like 3 resorts combine into 1, it's very huge.

Slow service, staff didn't know English well

Slow service or no service. Called for extra towels and never came. Staff knew minimal English. Beautiful beach. Bartenders were great.

Excellent hotel great pools!

My experience, well me and my girlfriend had an amazing time, the only problem was that everything was far from our room we have to walk alot or wait for a train to pick up, but overall the food was excellent, the restaurant, the staff well everything was great!

We stayed in Royal suites and we are very happy with our vacation. The blue trolly help us get to any part of the resort easily. Things we are not fun of are the staff selling massage, Time share like membership really bring negative impression. We were told we are going to welcome breakfast and we end up with a sales person trying to sell travel vlub membership. All in all the people if Palladium are very hospitable. Thank you very much.

Food, staff, facilities were excellent. Unfortunately it was difficult to get reservations at the restaurants at a decent time. The rooms were well air conditioned, however there was not enough drawers, small tv, and the bathroom and a horrible stench (sewer water) that grossed my family out.

Nice hotel close to the beach

Room for Improvement

Overall we had an awesome week and Bavaro Suites and Spa but there were a few areas for improvement. We went to the a la carte restaurants for dinner each night and on every occasion were told they were full and were sent away with a buzzer. Each time this happened the restaurants were less than a quarter full, so we couldn't understand why they said they were full?? The bathrooms were nice and well equipped but the showers in both our bathrooms leaked hugely when in use which made it treacherous when stepping out. If you went to the beach you were bothered by people selling sunglasses, hair braiding, excursions etc. Similarly around the hotel grounds, people bugging you to buy a timeshare or a massively over-priced massage at the spa! Pretty irritating really. Minor points which didn't spoil the holiday, just worthy of a mention. Overall we had a great week and would go back.

Personal are excellent, always attentive, cordial, friendly, and anxious to serve. Unfortunately, they lack resources: no enough beach towels, no enough fans in lobby or amphitheater (terribly the hot weather), food always the same (a lot of plates, but the same at lunch, dinner, breakfast). WIFI with great variability. Access to internet expensive and the machine to pay for access broke. The beach dirty (Nobody cleaned for seaweeds). Beer not always was cold as it has to be. Good to be in family (when they fix all of above).
