I stayed at the royal suites, the service was a little slow, especially transport, lasted long way to go, despite that, it was a good deal. the food was very good. excellent beach. nice pools. loved the sport bar. if you ask me if I would go back, I'd say yes.

Pros: Easy enough access to restaurants but could be due to when we went
Cons: See above
1. We were assigned a room next bldg to beach but was put into another room due to it being occupied. 2. We were essentially downloaded considering where we ended up. Center of resort by main road. 3. We even showed & shared we were there celebrating our 25th anniversary. 4. The room we ended up in had issues. Fridge not stocked, no robes or slippers. Never got slippers even though mentioned each day. 5. Tub had loose pieces from jet. 6. Ac & fridge shuts off when no movement in room. 7. Food was ok. The breakfast & lunch was the same every place and day 8. The Japanese Teppanki is a joke! Do NOT go! It will taint your experience of true Teppanki 9. Room service ends at 11! Especially when they have couple of events from 12! 10. Disco should play music for the masses for more familiarity

You get what you pay for

Pros: Price, pools, beach area, drinks
Cons: Receptionist customer service skills and making sure check-in is indeed at 3PM.
Location: Not much to do immediately outside of the resort, some local restaurants and bars noted but like most resorts are basically on it's own campus.
This hotel is a valuable place to stay at for the price. Check-in was extremely slow and frustrating, over 1 hour after check-in time and our room was still not ready and it wasn't until we complained that we got different rooms and even then they weren't even the correct rooms. Food is not the best so nothing to write home about. Drinks are good and strong. Nice beach front and area, pools are nice. There's also an adult only pool should you want to stay away from children.

Best stay and worthwhile vacation...I love it there everything there and the service was 100% awesome...would definitely go again if had chance again!!definitely would recommend! Had a memorable time in Punta canta ..thanks for having us!!!! Love the staff!

Disappointing, just terrible service and food... better to pay a lttle more and stay in PARADISUS PALMA REAL or HARD ROCK both of them in Punta Cana

Take your stay elsewhere...

Not much to say about this resort... Other than it is awful. My husband and I have been to several resorts throughout Mexico and riveria maya, however this was our first stay in the Dominican Republic due to a destination wedding at the Grand Palldium. We were very much looking forward to experiencing the D.R. For the first time. Firstly, the check in process is a joke. It took us nearly two hours just to check in. We kept getting passed around to different resorts on the property (I believe we were sent to four separate places). A lot of the check in process is done by paper not computer... This just seemed very unorganized. Secondly, the food is soooo bad!! My husband and I are not picky eaters at all.. We will eat anything. Several times through buffet lines and dinners, it was hard to find anything that looked appetizing. We did have a steak at one of the restaurants that was pretty good however. Also, several restaurants wouldn't allow us in! We even had the VIP wristband which meant we could get into any restaurant on the property... So much for upgrading. Thirdly, the staff is pretty rude for the most part. The concierge staff were very helpful and friendly, as were some of the wait staff... But the bartenders, were terrible! Being there for a wedding, we were around the bartenders more than any of the other staff. I am fortunate enough to have very polite and respectful friends.. The behavior on behalf of the bartenders was not reciprocated however!

Poor customer service

We were hoping for a wonderful vacation away from home in the USA. All we got was attitude and poor service from the workers at the resort. Would not recommend not return to this resort or any other site where this resort exists.
