Everything from our moment of arrival to our moment of departure was top notch service. Rooms were clean and comfortable and they had a good variety of food.

Pros: close to everything
Cons: transportation to airport
Location: good location lots to do
was told 24 hour transportation from airport but was none and even charged 40 dollars to take to airport when leaving that's the not right

Great beach, very nice property

I have stayed at the Grand Palladium Palace with my husband and a 4 year old son from January 6 through January 12. The hotel has a wonderful, very long beach. My son loved the sand it was very fine, almost powderlike. There is also tons of activities, from mini golf, soccer field, tennis courts throughout archery. Great for cloudy day. Our room was very spacious and it was cleaned daily. Our housekeeper Martina did a fabulous job especially cleaning all the sand that my four-year-old would bring back to the room! Thank you Martina building number 95! The buffet food was OK. Very good selection, however the menu was the same every day of the week. Which can get boring after three days top. That’s when we decided to try out the a la cart restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised with the dishes and the presentation. Our favorite was by far the steakhouse. Perhaps what made us go back there three nights in a row was the outstanding service we have received from our waiter Gilbert. Gilbert was very attentive, polite, and went above and beyond to make our dining experience the highlight of the day. Fellow vacationers, I realize this is an all-inclusive resort. However, if you feel that you have received quality service, please don’t hesitate to tip. This is a hospitality industry after all. I guarantee workers will appreciate even the smallest gesture. Overall, this was a very nice stay and I would recommend it.

Awfully managed hotel

Pros: Not a lot. The rooms were very nice if it weren't for the cockroaches.
Cons: Almost everything.
Location: Nothing much nearby, beach is lovely but not as nice as other nearby islands.
Main Restaurant Dining: Staff act like it's a chore to give you anything. Even a fake smile doesn't exist. Everything runs out at the buffet - plates, food, etc and takes AGES to get refilled Even milk runs out regularly at breakfast! Food is similar everyday (but I expect that from an all inclusive) Where there are live cooking stations there is one pan and 20 people waiting so expect to stand in a queue for a pasta for about 30 mins. Even pizza - how hard is it keep putting Margherita's in the oven?!?! My wife is Vegetarian and saw meat being spilt into vegetarian food regularly by staff. Chefs using their hands to stir dishes! A la carte dining What a stupid system! You cannot make reservations so you have to wait in a line for a table for up to two hours - especially impossibly when you have children. If you do somehow manage to get in there, the food and service is actually good at all the a la carte resturants we tried (Indian, Italian, Mexican). Tip - bypass the queue and pretend you need to use the toilet and then just sit down on a table - you will get served. When you get inside you'll see that despite a really long queue outside there are lots of empty tables inside. We figured out that the staff kept telling people it's a really long wait to put them off so they have less work to do! Run out of characters now so: Kid's club is filthy, reception staff rude, cockroaches in hotel room, shower pressure drops, many things closed to save money.

On the other hand, we should apologize if you feel that the staff was rude, this is not our standard, the community of Dominican Republic is characterized by being cheerful and friendly. We would also like to emphasize that we offer daily customer care classes to all our employees without any cost. Furthermore, we regret if the service in the a la carte restaurant did not fulfill your expectations. I should inform you that we offer vegetarian menus in all our restaurants. Next time I recommend asking our Public Relations Department on your arrival and they will give you all the details about the special food procedure. In addition, I should clear out that only TRS Turquesa guests and Palladium Travel Club members can make restaurant reservations in advance. Regarding the closed facilities, I should explain that we were making some renovation works in our facilities I order to improve our service and offer our guests a better quality. The planning of these works was sent to the travel agencies and tour operators and was published on our website some months before the beginning. Finally, we apologize again for the inconveniences, we hope you can visit us again in order to revert the negative impression of your recent stay and live a real Palladium experience. Great beach. Ok room. Poor everything else

Fantastic beach and good pools. Our room was nice with the exception of the door, which had a long three inch crack at the top. Everything else was quite poor...notably, the customer service. We did not interact with one employee who seemed like they genuinely wanted to help us. Directions on where to eat/go, activity recommendations, glass of water at dinner, the three times we requested housekeeping because all they did was drop two bottles of water in the room...we were always made to feel like the inconvenience. Further, there seemed to be accountability for any employee. Guest services hung up on me about five times during the course of our 2 day stay. We requested a taxi for our ride to the airport. “They will be here with a sign with your name on it at 6am.” ...6:15 and two requests from the front desk later the most unsafe taxi I have ever ridden in arrives (side note: our taxi driver pulled over halfway through our fared drive to get gas- I thank the hotel for that as well). If you try to speak Spanish or English it will not make a difference - you will get the same you are an inconvenience attitude. Of course, when you speak English much more accentuated and they are more likely to hang up on you or pretend in front of you they don’t speak English. The final comments I will make is about the good situation. The buffets are ok, but the hours are ridiculous. There is literally no food option at the resort between 5-7pm. So if you have a kid, good luck.

Great first time!

Food was about the same throughout resort. Housekeeping can be better but lock up all valuables. Beware of the Mamajuana.

Nice place close to beech

Pros: Buffet is great,needs more vegetable choices for vegetarians
Cons: Restaurants on site need lot of improvements in what they serve. Indian food was not Indian taste or presentation,Chinese And Italian were ☹️
Property is beautiful. This was my third time staying there. Have stayed at Bavaro,grand Bavaro and palace.
