Our 4 family house was close to beach.

Cons: Yes, the electric carts speed should be reduced when pedestrians walking near.
Everything was fine, as food, service, very pleasant staff, but only one problem what should be improved it is a electric carts movement. They running with speed around 15-20 miles/h on the pedestrian sidewalk close to the pedestrian. I am sure, when the driver see the pedestrians walking on the same or opposite directions they have unconditionally reduce the speed. Thank you very much for your understanding my opinion.

Perfect hotel for a short stay

My only problem was with weather- very windy with constant bouts of rain. Great food ( just go to buffets, restaurants are just not good) and nice pool, beautiful beach, accommodating staff. Had s GREAT massage at the spa

On the beach, nice , but not 5 stars

On the beach, considered to be medium level of Iberostar resorts. We went for relatives’ wedding there. Keep in mind everyone has to walk on the sand , there is paved path. Make up stylist had terrible taste, but when we discovered that that, was too late. And you have to hire their “professional” photographers for wedding. Most of the pictures were photobombed by second employee, who was taking video. Most of the employees were nice and polite, but some employees (driver), front desk seemed to have hard time smiling (often “good looking ones”).

beautiful grounds, close to pool and beach

Pros: If you needed something they were right there.
Cons: The food could be improved.
Location: very good location.
Everything was very good, except the food really needs to worked on.

9 Wonderful Days

Cons: Theme nights at the buffet, maybe?
Location: Didn't do any site seeing trips this time, but it's very close to an outdoor market that you can walk to on the beach.
Had a wonderful 9 days at the Iberostar Bavaro Suites. It was our 2nd time there and we were even able to upgrade and get the same room we stayed in last year. Thank you, Jose for making that happen. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were awesome! Gorgeous beach and great bartenders at the beach bar. Everyone there works so hard! I LOVED being able to take yoga every day. Samantha is an excellent instructor. She gave great cues and though the classes were beginner level, she always gave choices for the more advanced yogis. I really enjoyed her classes at the studio and the beach! The food was good, but by the end of 9 days it was feeling repetitive. Their ice cream is "to die for!" We will be back....hopefully for 2 weeks next year.

Group Trip

We came to the hotel with a group of 30+ adults. The trip was a blast, however there were a few things I’d personally point out. Pros: the resort was beautiful and I felt very safe. The restaurants were clean and staff very friendly and accommodating. Pool was pretty! Cons: pool was always cold, the food was a 5 out of 10, most workers did not speak good English and the reservations at the restaurants were very confusing. They pressure making reservations, yet we walked into almost every restaurant. The hibachi restaurant was AMAZING! Thy accommodated our large group together and made the experience so much fun!!!

Ok for a short trip

Good looking hotel with a nice pool area. The food was just ok. Went with a group of 30 people and about half of us were not feeling great after the second day of eating the food.

Decent

The stay at the hotel was okay. Definitely anticipated more. Nonetheless the staff wasn’t that friendly nor helpful. I went on a excursions and came back dirty because of the atv riding. And we had to wait 10 minutes because no one wanted to take us to our room. I do not plan on going back nor would I recommend it to any friends.
