Nice pool and close to the beach

Food was just ok, nothing exceptional. While most of the wait staff was helpful, there were some who would take their time in providing service.

Love the hotel beware of the concierge

Our stay at this hotel was great. The food was great, different things every night. Restaurants are pretty decent, drinks are watered downed but if you ask for more alcohol they gladly give it to you. Beach was relaxing but the water sucked cause of the amount of seaweed in it. Pools are fun they have activities everyday by the poolside. When I went they had a foam party at the pool it was awesome! Guest are from all over the world so you'll meet a great group of diverse people. Resort is extremely family oriented. Our kids loved it they are 11 and 7 and wanted to be at mini club the entire trip. What my husband and I didn't like was the shadiness from the concierge person we were appointed to. His name was Wander and seemed to need a refresher course in hospitality. He greeted my family with a smile and said if we need anything he would help. He tried to assist us in booking an excusion but we denied the excusion. He then tried to offer us to sit at a "presentation" for money off our excusion which we knew was a sucker move to get us to sit in a time share presentation. My husband refused. The next day we went back to him to reserve a restaurant spot and he put a face as if he didn't want to help us. He helped anyway. The next day we had another question but asked another concierge. They answered but then tried to get us to go to a "presentation" also. The next day another concierge approached us again about attending a presentation, by that time my husband lost it. Lol.

Extremely crowded. Quality below expectations. Food was not tasty. Certain areas are due for renovation.

R&R Vacation

Pros: The flexibility of the staff when something was requested

Our family enjoyed all aspects of the resort. There was a large variety of food for all tastes and was very fresh, our suite were kept clean and had extra touches every day, the drink services on the beach was awesome and the nightly entertainment was good, and most importantly the entertainment during the day and evening from Juan Carlos EL GATO was outstanding, it was like he was part of the family.

Excelent vacations

Relaxing vacations. Great customer service. Staff was always happy and helpful. A lot of food and drinks all day long. I have been in many hotels before an this one is the only one that has a lot of activities during the day and night. I love all the shows. Staff and the artists do their best to make people have the best vacation. I will recommend this hotel to everyone. Thanks guys🤗

Our first trip to the Dominican Republic...great!

Pros: Staff! Francisco, Juan Ramon and Yuvelis were awesome. I know they get paid for their services but they made us feel like family!
Cons: Two people in our group slipped and fell in the pool area. There are signs that say...slippery floor but they need mats for the traffic area.
Location: The area is isolated and we didn't leave the resort but it is connected to other Iberostar hotels you can access.
The Pros: There is food and drinks to be had everywhere. The quality of the food depends on your taste and expectations but as far as I'm concerned it ranged from a "friends BBQ" to top quality restaurant. If you are looking for a gourmet hamburger then you won't be happy. If you are looking for consistency and a plethora of choices then you will be happy. Staff...wow. I'll get into details about this further on. Rooms - The rooms were accommodating and served their purpose. The staff kept them clean and neat. We had ZERO issues with anything going missing even when you leave money out to dry on the table. Pool and beach - Super clean and very nice. The beach is constantly being combed over by staff retrieving empty cups and food. At night they clean the Tiki Bar/Food hut with low light to make sure its ready for the next day. Transportation - Everything is in walking distance and they do offer golf cart trips to wherever you want to go to. Entertainment - We had a blast with the crazy pool games and the night shows. These guys are so funny with their comments keep you laughing. The staff was amazing in this aspect. Cons: The hotel offers you a "free" perk that usually consists of you being interrogated for two hours and then offered vacation packages. So just be careful. To eat at one of the half dozen specialty restaurants you have to go to the front lobby and make a reservation. I suggest you do this immediately when you arrive and book for your whole stay.

One of my favorite places

Pros: Mostly, the food.
Cons: The check in could be a little bit earlier.
Location: There's a lot of option in what to do but if you decide to do nothing and just grab a good book to read, you will have a pleasant day as well.
We had such a great time last year that we had to go back. I love everything about this hotel, the beauty, the people, the food and especially how clean the bathrooms are, especially in the busy areas around the pool. Wouldn't change anything.
