Beautiful and comfortable all inclusive resort

Private beach with soft sand and bar, beautiful pool with swim up bar, and the most friendly staff. The food options were delicious between a stacked buffet, a Japanese restaurant, Mexican restaurant, steakhouse, and fancy French restaurant, plus all inclusive room service. About an hour drive from Punta Cana, but the scenery along the way makes up for that. Highly recommend!

Great all-inclusive tropical hotel.

Pros: Everything, close to beach, diving center, 5 restaurants, pools, theater,
Cons: 1. Mosquitoes - room fumigation every week is not enough. The whole area (in and out) need to be fumigated 2. I-net almost unavailable in the room
Location: Casino Club and Bar - Kviar
I like everything about the hotel. Entertainment - theater shows for adults and kids. A few bars a few restaurants and a pool, diving center, great beach. The staff was the greatest of all - very nice and friendly and always ready to walk an extra-mile for you. My greatest experience was when two days before the end of the vacation I asked the guest services to find me a driver to take me with the rental car I had, to the airport and drop me (and the car) there. After a couple of phone calls the (very nice girl) said: "Sir, I'm sorry, I can't find anyone. You can drive, right?". Then I shared the bad experience I had a couple of days ago - I went to La Romana (town, 30 km from the hotel) and while I was walking down the street, some guy pulled my phone out of my hands and ran away. My credit cards and driver's license were in the case, so I didn't have driver's license and I didn't have navigation (the phone). Then the girl said: "Sir, give me your room number and I will contact you in an hour!". After fifteen minutes, she found me in the lobby and introduced me to a guy (who was part of the hotel staff) and explained me that he's going to be my driver. And this - for FREE. This was really GREAT! Needless to say I tipped the girl and (especially) the driver, handsomely, although the girl explicitly explained, that I didn't have to do it, because it was their obligation. Well ... I don't think it was. Not at all ...

Nice hotel, beautiful territory, good food

We stayed at building 6, that was our second time at this hotel, rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything is in good condition but not brand new. Food is good and the choice is pretty decent but local vines are terrible. Beach is great, clean and have enough shade, water is clean and shallow. The lighthouse bar at the beach is always too crowded and the staff there is less nicer than in other bars, could do better. Kids club is available, my kids 3 and 6 y/o spent there 3 hours and didn't get bored. Pool is good however we prefer ocean so can't say much about the pool. Overall everything was good, I would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful beach and water

Pros: The beach and water was best I have ever experienced, I have been to Mexico, Jamaica, Aruba, The water was warm, calm and clear
Cons: Room renovations, Restaurant service in the Colonial, Better drinks,
This iberostar is supposed to be a premium resort. I have been to many all inclusives including Iberostar Rose Hall Suites 3 times. That is a premium resort! At the buffets, the cold cuts and cheeses all coagulated making it very un appealing if not unsafe. The "Goumet Restaurant had the most awful service I have experienced. Not only do they make a big deal of giving out a reservation to this, they said they had lobster on menu. They do, but as a cold fruity appetizer. We were a party of five women and the staff , did not pull out chairs, place napkins, rolled eyes when we had to ask for more water, etc. They never brought out one appetizer and argued that it was because you can only have soup or appetizer! Never experienced this at all inclusive and was never told when ordering We skipped dessert and went to buffet for dessert. We tried the Mexican, which was pretty good, and the steakhouse, just ok but both had very good service. The frozen drinks at all bars were bad, very watery. A strawberry daquari has no strawberry in it! By far the worst drinks I've had at any all inclusive. The best meat and most fun was the Paella party for lunch, finally got the lobster! The rooms were small and the bathroom small and in need of revovation, the toilet handle broke the last day and the faucet was ancient. On the positive side, The Star Players were very good, friendly ad work very hard

Location: Great location. Dive center inside the hotel makes a huge difference for me.
Love the hotel! For sure we will be back, maybe next year. We stayed at Viva and Catalonia before, but Ibero is better then those two. Food is great. Service the best. Thumbs up for Jacob of guest service and Vicmar of front desk. We just wish we have a room closer to the pool. We invited 7 friends to go with us and they loved also!

Location: Not so much to do.
The food was so monotonous and boring and sometimes not so fresh. Мany flies around the food! Also the garden paths weren't clean enough. In the shower the water didn't go away quickly and you are standing ankle-deep in water. Very few TV channels in English.
