Our stay at Bahia principe luxury bouganville was fantastic. The staff was welcoming, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the food was delicious with a variety of options. There were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend!"

Property was very beautiful and clean. Rooms however were dated with very very hard mattresses and minimal receptacles. Also, hotel app was frustrating. Unable to make recommended reservations for spa or meals stateside. Upon arrival, no availability which was disappointing.

The property had a perfect mixture of quiet and loud places. There was something for everyone’s vibe. The beach had a lot of areas/chairs to sit at. The staff were friendly and attentive. We will be back.

Furniture very outdated. Sheets/bedding very old and very dirty looking. Way below luxury standards. Our room ocean front with balcony it cost us extra money, when we checked in didint have sheets changed only dirty ones from previous occupants. Refrigerator was not working and had to wait for 2 days to be replaced.

Very nice hotel. Expedia advertised Queen bed, not Queen was 2 full beds . Three of us traveled and our butler set us up with a twin, real bed for our third person. Staff was great, just need to ask and they will do what they can. Entertainment was fun, remember to participate and you will enjoy your stay that much more. Food was good and there was always something that you could enjoy even if you picky eater like me. Worth the trip.

However, this does not mean that Bahia La Romana is not a clean or unsuitable beach for bathers, as a very strict cleaning routine is carried out on a constant and daily basis.

Wonderful pool and chairs. Wasn’t great that staff (we were told) take large tips to hold chairs poolside for guests. Some leave for hours - other people cannot get an umbrella… drinks were awesome but frequently bars ran out of supplies - overall great place

Our recent stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. The majority of the staff was attentive and polite. The breakfast buffet was good, lunch buffet was sufficient, and the dinner buffet was great. The beach area was nice but definitely not suggested if this is one of the main things that you are looking for. The water is murky and no waves at all. The room was dated but the staff kept it stocked well and did a good job cleaning every day. A resort like this is all about expectations. If you are looking for 5 star everything for a 3 star price, good luck. Tipping the staff well will go a long way. We were well taken care of by the pool bartenders, lobby staff and housekeeping. If you are the kind of person that nitpicks about every little thing, this resort may not be the place for you. But if you are looking for a nice place to relax at a good value, highly recommend.

The staff was the best part. We enjoyed the entertainment team (Mireisy, Rigoberto, Roxanne, and Wellington). The wait staff was great as well (Rosa, Marynell, Rueben). The restaurants were a nice change from the buffet. We enjoyed the different selections at the buffet. Pool and ocean water were warm. Didn’t have to fight for chairs around the oook or cabanas on the beach.

The property was well kept the rooms were clean. The resturants were easy to get into. 24hr room service was nice.

Although the property was older, the staff never stopped cleaning every inch of the place. I never stayed at a place so friendly and clean..

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Staff and service was excellent. Great fun entertainment and plenty of food and drink option. Happy employees and we love how the establishment acknowledges the employees.

Best experience ever. The best part was the entertainment they go beyond and above. Wish they got better pay. They work sooo hard but pay is not good. Thank you Angelo smith and crew you guys are the best.
