Nice hotel, the staff attention was very good

Pros: The staff was very polite
Cons: None
Location: The location was OK.. close to the beach
The stay at Memories Splash was very exciting. Lots of activities. The food was great

Water park hotel.

Excellent for kids staff were very friendly, everything is within walking distance and accommodation are excellent. Very satisfied, i would recommend it.

Killed 3 roaches!!!!! Over charged at check in

We were over charged at checkin, over $200. Its been a week since we were told it would be credited and it has not. We had to wait until the third day of our stay for someone to even attempt to credit us back. So, I spent the first hours of my vacation, pulled away from my family dealing with the overcharge, on the phone with my travel agent because the desk staff wouldn't do anything. Then I had to return 2 days later, so they could process my return. Again, being pulled away from my vacation and family. I killed 3 roaches in our room! Finally after the 3rd one and all the other hassle I went through I had it!!!! I went to the desk to deman a new room. I was told to leave our bags and they would be moved for us... well 45 minutes later and being sent to the wrong building to just wander aimlessly at 11pm with my kids we found the new room. Only to NEVER get our bags. My kids slept in their clothes. Upon check out, I asked for the manager and was given the reception manager.... only to be told he was sorry for everything. No compensation.

Very clean resort. Well-staffed and good service. Deluxe rooms are old fashioned, but the bed is comfy and good air conditioned. Familiar resort with good activities and music around main pool. There is another pool that is more quiet if you want to relax. Beautiful beach at Royalton, although with a lot of waves. The trolley to transport to/from Royalton is excellent. Night shows at Royalton are ~average

Friendly staff. Rooms could be a bit larger with more furniture, better TV and other equipment.

The resort was OK. The staff was friendly for the most part. The housekeeping crew was very helpful. The drinks were weak.

Memories aren’t always good

We arrived and the front desk staff struggled with communication, in fact, they’re entire staff on both ends of the resorts seemed to only speak the native language. The buildings only have stairs, so enjoy dragging your suitcase down those when checking out. There were giant cockroaches that kept getting in room, not to mention that if the ac isn’t left on high, everything will be damp and the floor wet from humidity, so be careful because you’ll slip. The safe had low batteries, so we couldn’t keep valuables safe when leaving the room. The mini fridge made loud noises. The entire facilities seemed to be in terrible condition, while eating at the buffet the entire ceiling collapsed on the kitchen staff because water had been trapped above. They will send someone to invite you to breakfast, don’t accept the invitation....... it’s a ploy to pitch you a high pressure sales presentation for time shes(which they say it’s not) overall, we were very disappointed and found ourselves commiserating with other guests that seemed to feel the same as we did. This is a 2 star resort.

Nice Hotel

Nice hotel but needs some maintenance. The staff and entertainment was awesome. This hotel has a big issue of a lot of ants and palmetto bugs. The amenities are a little embellished on paper than what you think you will get.
