Walkable distance to the beach ..

Great locación... The food was good, Many options to chose from, nice staff... The rooms are not luxury but that wasn't important to me because the location and food are great... The only downside I think is that wifi is not free ... But other than that is a good place to stay... Loved the beach... Loved the place... Would definitely love to go back.

Real annoying ...hotel under construction...hard to get to the beach....the food was not so appealing....the restaurant was not so clean..bugs while eating.....the room were real old and not taken care of ..Broken stuff ...Not clean ..took a long time to be clean... Not enough towel..it was hot in the buffet..it was a real mess...the shows were not that great. .there was children when some.of the show were a little too much....the dancers were good. The show such as the other were horrible....Not to mention A/c problem...hot room

This was my second time at this hotel and it will be my last. Too much construction going on, rooms were still dated, not many food options and bad customer service amongst staff. Very disappointing experience.

Terrible food and service.

Pros: The location. Great beach and good pools.
Cons: Room cleanliness and appearance. Infant in room with a flying cockroach in the bathroom and called the front desk twice for help they never showed up
If you are not tipping, which you shouldn't be since its supposed to be an all inclusive hotel, you will not get good service. Staff its looking out for money. Hotel goes agins the saying of going abover and beyond. You also better be an out of the Country tourist and have no resemblence to the Dominican native, Otherwise, worst service for you cause they are waiting for money tips in US dollars. The moment you tip they fall at your feet and offer you the greatest service int he world.

Nuestra experiencia fue muy buena, la comida estuvo de muy buena calidad, la piscina estuvo exajeradamente caliente en horario de la tarde. El servicio al cliente muy agradable, excepto por dos meseras :@. El show es de primera más que encantado de el show que hicieran los días que estuvimos alojados. En general recomiendo el hotel si quieres pasar unas vacaciones relajantes

When we got into our rooms there was this horrible stench coming from the bathroom that made us always close the bathroom door. The worst part was not the stench but the toilet not flushing, they told us the pipes are too thin or something. The room didn't have a temperature to be set on, only AC on or off which was horrible.

Don't go

They say it's all inclusive but you have to pay for Wi-Fi and to use the safe in your room. The AC flooded my room every morning stood 4 days and was never fixed. No room service. The mini fridge didn't work. Buffet service was terrible hot soda with no ice is what a waiter gave me. Will never go again

Worst Vacation Ever,

Pros: The beach was a plus but none of the venders catered to this facility they were centered at the other hotels down the beach.
Cons: upgrade the facilities, fumigate and prevent roaches.
Location: Very little todo close by had to walk out to the check point the hotel would not provide transportation to the gate.
The facilities were old,we were put in a small room that only had one chair so one person had to sit on the bed. Once we got moved to a larger room there were roaches in the room and after a couple of days the Air condition failed and they were continually working on the unit. The Expedia Rep was of little help in this matter.

Nice resort with a beautiful beach.

Everything is great except the food. Occidental needs to change it up. The restaurants need to have more varieties, better quality of food and chefs. They do have great fruit and vegetable smoothies during breakfast. Love their sweet mangoes, papayas and pineapples. The steak restaurant was not good, the rib eye was so tough and chewy, you ask for medium and all the steaks came out well done. We had to go to the Italian and Mexican restaurant to get a decent steak filet. I also like the fact that we're not harassed by the staff to buy or sign up for anything.

Big rooms, many bars and restaurants. Their Italian restaurant is outstanding and the others are not far off. Very nice staff. Very big resort. Very good value for this hotel
