If you are not tipping, which you shouldn't be since its supposed to be an all inclusive hotel, you will not get good service. Staff its looking out for money. Hotel goes agins the saying of going abover and beyond. You also better be an out of the Country tourist and have no resemblence to the Dominican native, Otherwise, worst service for you cause they are waiting for money tips in US dollars. The moment you tip they fall at your feet and offer you the greatest service int he world.

Thank you for taking a moment of your time to provide us with feedback regarding your recent stay at the Occidental Grand Punta Cana. First and foremost, we cordially extend our deepest apologies for not meeting your expectations. Our goal is, and will always be to prove each and every one of our guests with nothing less than an excellent holidays experience and a five-star quality of service. Your comments were shared with the management and quality control department of the hotel. Rest assured, your comments will be properly reviewed and your issues will be address to avoid similar situations in the future. That said we do have a continuous cleaning and fumigation schedule in place, meant to ensure pests are kept under control while protecting the wildlife of our resort. Unfortunately, due to the spontaneous nature of the weather in the Caribbean, sometimes the varying climate conditions make it so additional attention is required in this regard. We are sorry we were not able to address your concerns during your stay in this and that you were not pleased with our quality of service.
Once again, we thank you for having chosen to stay with us. We hope you consider giving us another chance. We guarantee that your next experience will be far better than your last.
It was our sincerest pleasure to serve you.
