Nice Hotel, beach was close.

Pros: I loved the staff!!!! Milton, Norkelly, Peter & Daniel.. in the Steakhouse, Marino.. on the beach, and the staff in the breakfast buffet were kind!!
Cons: If anything could be improved, I would use less salt in some of the food. On a grand scale, this is really minor!!!
Location: I had no desire to leave the resort property!!
Loved this hotel because of the incredible staff. I was there during the passage of Hurricane Maria and the staff took great care of me and the rest of the Hotel Guests. They risked their own lives to make sure we had water and food during the storm. They took measures to protect the guests from as many hazards as possible.

especially nice is the pool area

Pros: not too big , gardens
Cons: rooms
Location: location is okay , Punta cana at the beach ... never bad thing
room is adequate ,but not special. I went to this hotel 10 years ago and it was at that time way better. Pool area is nice , only kids pool area is in full sun and has hardly any sun umbrellas.... we had to steal one at the other side of the pool .....

This is nice hotel service is good food is good environment is excellent room condition was good I want a only one suggestion for they have to improve the lobby to hotel end place traveling that's it

Great staff and service. Room awesome

Pros: The room, food, staff, fitness facilities.service , beach and enterteinment
We arrived the day before Hurricane Irma. For the first night the hotel gave us a room near the beach. During the second and before Irma they changed us to a room near the lobby( for security) and beside the buffet. They informed us the hotel plan in case of emergency. After the storm we had a wonderful stay. The food was super! The staff have an A+. Would recomend

Ok hotel to stay in

Restaurants not accommodating for large groups. Taxi from hotel to airport was $5 more than arriving ($40). People are friendly but the overall experience could be better especially for all inclusive stay.

Disappointing

Cons: Better service to big groups.
I stood at this hotel for a wedding. Group of 20 people. They did not accommodate the wedding guests for large dinner parties. The brides birthday was two days before her wedding, and they lost her birthday cake that we purchased. My room did not have AC or a working TV. I spoke to about 7 different people about my room issues, and asked for someone to check the air. They said they would send someone, and never did. I stood at the resort for 5 nights, without ac. Only a ceiling fan. no matter how many times I called for assistance no one came to check the room or even offered to swap my room. You would think that by bringing a group to their resort for a wedding they would accommodate. Room service is 24 hours which is cool but you wont get breakfast between 5-7am. They only had hotdogs and burgers. Expedia gave me a 250 resort credit, which was useless. It only applies to spas, photos, wines, BUT there's regulations to it still. You have to book at least 100 package and can only use one of the coupons at a time. It was not cash value, it was simply a coupon book with multiple regulations, therefore pointless for me. I will never stay at this resort again, nor recommend. And don't get your hopes up if you happen to receive resort credit cause of the many regulations they can become useless for your trip. The casino at this resort was very small with only two tables and they didn't even have singles for us to pay the machines.I also did not like how public the beach wedding wa

Bad place to go to vacation with family !

Cons: they need to clean the beach ? We travel from Washington DC to enjoy the beach and everything else! don't happen
Location: Just not a good place to travel and enjoy the place.
We where on vacation and everyday we have to deal with hotel staff trying to sell you timesharing or club privilege services as they calling, that was very bad.

It could be BETTER!

Pros: The cleanliness in general and the staff's politeness

Location: The location was good, obviously the hotel has people in charge of the activities but we'd rather book them directly through Expedia instead!
First of all, this has been the BEST resort that I have ever stayed at in Punta Cana!!! I will start with the room. It was clean BUT the TV wasn't working, I called reception to have them fix it and had to call again the second day because no one showed up when I called the first time. The phone rings a lot when you're trying to get in touch with reception, it SHOULDN'T take them that long to answer it! The bathroom toilet had a leak, I had thought that the cleaning ladies would notice it but NO! Other than that, the bathroom was pretty clean!!! Second of all, the hotel staff is very FRIENDLY AND POLITE!!! I wish they would use better quality liquor to make their cocktails and other drinks!!! The main buffet was good, it could be BETTER!!! When we arrived, we were told no reservations were required for a La Carte restaurants, THAT'S FALSE! Three restaurants required reservations!!! On Mondays, some restaurants are CLOSED which is ridiculous!!! They keep their gardens very clean, I've also noticed that they wash the chair lounges around the pool which I have NEVER seen been done else where!!! Oh, two days before we left, a hotel staff member approached me and offered us a tour and a gift. I was very disappointed because honestly this is something that could've been done on the second day after arrival! THE BEACH IS FULL OF BROWN ALGAE!!! I don't know why they don't clean it up, I really didn't like that. Lastly, the snack bar at the beach should have more food options!!!

great restaurants

Pros: the restaurants and the coffee shop and the spa the pool
Cons: the a/c issue
Location: the beach is right there. not many events happening at the resort though and there are people walking around the resort selling adventure packages
One issue I had was the a/c. The vent for the a/c is near the door and nowhere close to the beds which means it feels like there is no a/c in the room. You have a ceiling fan between the beds that just moves hot air. There is only 1 choice for breakfast and lunch which is the buffet and that was not that great. Not all the restaurants are open for dinner on the same night which was ok because you had at least two choices to pick from. For a tourist resort I found it hard to speak with the staff because my Spanish is horrible.

Nice hotel and awesome staff

Hotel conditions were good my only complaint was the air conditioner not being cold. Other than that their staff is amazing very friendly and attentive. They definitely make your stay an excellent one. Food was good too including the buffet and restaurants. Fun activities by the pool every day.
