Firsts of all I would like to give the staff serving, cooking and providing the food an A+. This was some of the best food I've seen at an all-inclusive. The mojitos were also excellent here.
But what to watch out for: the room "cleaning" ladies routinely knock on your door, at least once in the morning and you say you are leaving, but hours later the room was not cleaned up, funny they didn't have a cleaning cart with them. Why did they want to go into my room if not to clean it up?
Watch out for the FAKE Cuban cigars that are routinely trying to be sold on the beach by people who also offer other party favors on top of that, anything to scam a buck out of you. NO GRACIAS is a good thing to say which means no thank you. Do research on what an authentic Cuban cigar box looks like before leaving, and realize what they all sell are just fakes. DON'T TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY, I actually bought what I though were Cubans on the hotel property because the guy said they wouldn't allow them to sell fakes on property $180, because I saw a hologram and it seemed real at that price, real alright, I was real dumb to trust a scammer.
Next they charge about $3 US per minute to make a phone call to the room from the US. I only used it because the internet ID and pass wouldn't work to sign me on their network, seemed to only work when hotel staff did it? Not sure if same code was used that I bought.
