Amazing Staff in a beautiful Resort

Everything about our stay was flawless. The people were so kind, helpful and involved with the guests to ensure everyone was maximizing their vacation. Guest Services was incredible and catered to our every need. I would definitely recommend this resort to friends and family!

Small hotel not commercial on beautiful beach 👍🏻

It is a beautiful small hotel nicely kept grounds beautiful pool swim up bar 4 Resteraunt's on premises and can use a few others outside hotel .. beach beautiful Had a fabulous time would go back in a flash just fantastic

Do yourself a favor, and go to another resort

Pros: The beach was absolutely breathtaking. Probably one of the best beaches I've been to in the Dominican
Cons: The rooms need an update (bed, pillows, bathrooms)
Location: Get out of the resort as much as you can and do an excursion! My friends and I did one and that was the best time of our lives.
I don't even know where to begin, then who the heck is Juan Pablo? The first day we arrived they told us to meet Juan Pablo in the front lobby at 3:20PM to schedule the time to arrive for transportation when you leave. When we sat and sat and sat to wait for a Juan, we realized there is no such guy! They lie to you to force you to do excursions. Luckily, we already wanted to do one..so no need to lie to us! Also, if you're in your 20s or 30s, you'll be by far the youngest Adult there. The rooms need a major update. The beds were like sleeping on rocks, the bathrooms have no doors, our shower leaked every day and have asked them to fix it, but they did nothing. The servers in the restaurants and buffet were wonderful! Instead of the man who makes the eggs. He was by far one of the rudest worker at the resort. He didn't understand English and literally through my friends eggs like it was her fault for saying she wanted peppers in her omelet, not onions. I was very upset with the night entertainment. They have no stage, so they set up a few chairs in the front lobby and before you can actually watch the show you have to watch the staff dance for about an hour or two. We were so bored we just went to the sister resort and hung out there. I could go on and on about how awful this resort is. If it wasn't for my girlfriends, the beach, the pool bar and the bartender... I probably would've left vacation a little earlier. Go to the Excellence or Breathless instead!!

Dominican Republic >Where They Rip You If They Can

Pros: It is close the water, right on the beach. The staff were nice. The water was warm. The food was tasty. A lot of good people stayed here. Clean place.
Cons: Anyways $52 in phone charges later, I was informed it would cost more money for them to confirm cab via local call, and was late to airport.
Location: The show at night is okay. The MOJITOS are good. These locations pay their people poorly so they like tips. Most don't speak English.
Firsts of all I would like to give the staff serving, cooking and providing the food an A+. This was some of the best food I've seen at an all-inclusive. The mojitos were also excellent here. But what to watch out for: the room "cleaning" ladies routinely knock on your door, at least once in the morning and you say you are leaving, but hours later the room was not cleaned up, funny they didn't have a cleaning cart with them. Why did they want to go into my room if not to clean it up? Watch out for the FAKE Cuban cigars that are routinely trying to be sold on the beach by people who also offer other party favors on top of that, anything to scam a buck out of you. NO GRACIAS is a good thing to say which means no thank you. Do research on what an authentic Cuban cigar box looks like before leaving, and realize what they all sell are just fakes. DON'T TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY, I actually bought what I though were Cubans on the hotel property because the guy said they wouldn't allow them to sell fakes on property $180, because I saw a hologram and it seemed real at that price, real alright, I was real dumb to trust a scammer. Next they charge about $3 US per minute to make a phone call to the room from the US. I only used it because the internet ID and pass wouldn't work to sign me on their network, seemed to only work when hotel staff did it? Not sure if same code was used that I bought. the bedrooms had very hard beds- they were actually platforms with skinny mattresses.

Good location on beautiful beach!

Very energetic and friendly staff. Average food. Yummy drinks. Beautiful resort! You can go to the other Princess resorts. It is all inclusive but staff seems to expect tips. Better service if you tip. Decent amenities and average rooms. Easy check in and check out. Easy to book excursions. Didn't provide enough bath towels. Had to ask for more multiple times. No wash cloths or body sponges provided so bring your own. Shower water temperature was inconsistent, often no hot water. Pillows were not the best. Water is not potable so they provide you with plenty of bottled water.

Good, mid-range resort

Pros: Access to food at any time. Nice and friendly staff who made an effort to get to know you.
Cons: The rooms are outdated and need updating (new mattress, furniture etc).
Location: We did the horseback riding trip and zip-lining/ monkey land which were both great. Anything you do is at least a 30min drive (lots of speed bumps)
My husband and I stayed at the Punta Cana Princess for our Honeymoon in January 2017. We got married in September so we did not do the honeymoon package or suite. Getting to the resort from the airport wasn't bad, just be ready for a bumpy ride. We arrived a little before check-in and were greeted with a drink and were able to access the buffet while we waited for our room to be ready. This was great as I was starving after our flight in. The room we had was in building 5 which was close to the beach and the pool. The room was nothing fancy, king sized bed that could use replacing and the couch that was there was obviously dated, but everything was clean. The bathroom had a nice jacuzzi tub but it took about 1/2 just to get it filled. The shower and bathroom stalls are next to each other and the shower sometimes leaked into the toilet area a little. The food was ok, nothing fancy. Of the restaurants I liked the Tex-Mex and the italian. The buffet was nothing fancy and didn't always have the greatest selection. The bars were great and all the staff was very friendly. They did have vendors around taht were very annoying and didn't take no for an asnwer so we learned to avoid them. the beach was clean and lots of chairs available. Just make sure you put our towel out early for good seating. Overall not bad but nothing fancy. Nice resort for a decent price.

Had a very pleasant stay. Staff very friendly and because Resort is smaller, it's more personal. Grounds well taken care of and food was good for buffet food with different themas every night. Beautiful beach!

OK for a budget vacation!

Room should have more draw space for cloths. Food was the worst I ever had in a Caribbean Resort & I have stayed at many.But the old saying is true(you get what you paid for).

Pros: All adults and the size of the resort makes getting to and from everything really easy.
We had a fabulous time here. Great staff and the food was good as well. A few things to be aware of: the gym is really not a gym. Plan on beach runs. When using the public facilities check for toilet paper in the women's w.c. before committing. And the beach spots fill up quickly and early in the morning.
