Nice hotel, lol of renovations going on.

Not well staffed for off season guests. The $1250 resort credit is only a coupon book. Wasn't able to use one single coupon because they already discounted and put on special most services and tours.

a lot of fun but hard to relax at times

We were greeted by very friendly staff and had a great start. It was a little hard for my wife and me to talk with a lot of the staff due to the language difference. You could see the frustration with the staff while trying to talk with me and my wife. Some people might see the frustration as being rude, but we understood where they were coming from and speak some Spanish. You should learn to speak a good bit of Spanish before visiting. A lot of the staff at first seem friendly but it turned out it was just to try and sell you something after about 30 seconds into them 'greeting' you. Every morning on our way to breakfast we would be approached by at least two different resort employees starting off with a 'welcome to the resort.' Then would you like to buy a massage or go to a 'VIP Welcome Breakfast' that is the same breakfast buffet that everyone else goes to but is paired with a sales rep trying to sell you on joining the hotel club. Could not relax as much as we would like by the pool because of the walking spa massage sale men walking up and down the pool approaching you at least once an hour, as well as with the beach. The sale men will not take no for an answer either and you have to walk away from them. The buffet food was ok at best but all the ordered food from the theme restaurants was excellent.

The expirience was overall good. I place was well kept and clean. I think they need to improve entertainment and have more fun activities.

Pros: spacious and options between different properties, pools were beautiful and bog. staff was friendly. gift for our anniversary
Cons: food, room cleanliness.
staff was very courteous, made us feel safe and taken care of during hurricane. when ordering over the phone staff should be a little bit more warm and nice to customers. when checked in our room did not have toiletries, most towels were missing and other goodies including slippers. bathroom was dirty, beds were moist including pillows and room smelled like mildew. we had friends stay in other rooms and mentioned the same thing.overall we made the best of it because the weather was beautiful so was the hotel staff was friendly and who can complain about an all inclusive with drinks and food!

Great hosts to international travelers

Pros: The staff
Cons: The wattage of the lighting in the room. See above.
Location: The resort is right on a beautiful white sand beach. There are lots of pools and several adults only pools. The hotel lobby is a fun gathering spot,
If I could fault anything it would be the lack of high wattage bulbs in the lamps in the room. There were reading lamps and table lamps and a floor lamp so between them all the wattage was powerful enough to enjoy some reading time. My eyes may not be as strong as younger patrons and that could account for my findings. The staff was very kind, helpful and went out of their way to assist us. This was our second trip to the resort and we enjoyed it as much as he first.

Beautiful Resort Jr. Suite and Swim up are nice.

The resort is beautiful just like the pictures. The food was just ok. Japanese was best restaurant. The bartenders we amazing w the drinks. The Jet Boat and Dune Boogies were excellent excursions.
