Beautiful Private Beach

Pros: Beautiful and quiet, beverage service on the private beach, entertainment and alcohol theme nights in the lobby and the best concierge ever!
Cons: The only thing I do have to say is the food was not the greatest. Try the Japanese restaurant and the Chateaubriand at Le Chanterelle.
Location: This resort was only one of 65 resorts along the section of beach called Punta Cana on the central east coast. Safari day trip was outstanding!
Royal Suites is one of 3 all inclusive resorts on the Palladium property in Punta Cana with Royal Suites being the adults only option. You are entitled to special privileges such as full use of the spa facilities all day every day even without buying a service and 2 restaurants specifically designated for Royal Suites guests so you never have to see anyone under 18 ~ ever ~ if you don't want to! You have electric carts, again designated specifically for Royal Suites guests and we took them every place we went. The staff was so accommodating, so friendly, so grateful for your presence and couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves.

My mediocre vacation

Food quality was all over the place Wait staff seemed indifferent more times than not Communication problems were turned on and off when needed The Vacation Club is basically prepaying for future vacations, or as we call it, loaning billionaires interest free capital Vacation Club staff preyed upon people's natural efforts to be polite guests in their country We were taken to building to hear sales presentation. When I asked how long it would take? I was told "as long as I wanted" I asked if at anytime would they want my signature or my credit card ? Once again evasive answer. I said " we wish to leave " They followed us out and asked us for explanation. I was now insulted that they considered my valuable vacation time so dispensable. The sales staff always kept smiles on their faces and were never rude, which only irritated me more. The beach was absolutely perfect Our butler Abel was the best, as was our maid The landscaping was incredibly done The swim up pool we had was clean and just the right temp

Awesome Last Minute Vacation

Pros: The friendly helpful staff....Just excellent
Cons: Just not so many sales pitches....thats all
Location: Short ride from the airport and there is something to do all day long. The resort is just awesome...The butler service and car service a huge plus.
The hotel and staff was amazing and I have traveled all over the world. The rooms are super clean and neat and the food and room service was excellent. Beautiful beaches and views on the resort. We will be back soon!

Another wonderful stay at RST

Pros: We love the place because it is quiet.
Cons: It happened fairly often that the vegetables served with the main course were cold. They could ensure that the whole course is hot.
Location: Great location, about 15-20 min by taxi. Spa on site with great exercise room.
This was our 4th stay at RST. For us, a retired couple, this hotel suits our needs. It is very quiet where we are (swim-up room) and the food is very good. We had most of our meals at the two restaurants reserved for RST (Le Gourmet et Le Chanterelle). The room is plenty spacious and our maid this year was fantastic (never had to run after anything) As mentioned, the food is quite good. If you bring up a problem to your waiter, they will do their very best to fix it. The beach is beautiful and there seemed to be plenty of chairs. We are hoping to go back next year id the price is right (the exchange for US to CDN dollar is a killer)

Decent hotel...food is ehh. Eat at restaurants. Buffets aren't very good. You will be hassled by hotel staff consistently to buy something...very annoying after awhile.

First time to Punta Cana

The Dominican Republic was awesome. The Royal Suites Turquesa was excellent. Staff was great, personal butler service very helpful, and many nice restaurants to eat at as long as you make reservations. Fantastic pools, bar service and beach access. Only disappointment was the 5 hours we lost due to being pressured into a sales pitch to join their vacation club, which sounded interesting until we heard the $20,000 price tag. Very high pressure sales tactics so beware when they approach you.

Luxury suites

This hotel is amazing and if your looking for utter relaxation this is ur place.... If ur looking for party and night life and ur under the age of 40 this may not be the place for u.... Though I enjoyed my stay I'm 28yrs old and was quite bored at times but the hotel was beautiful, spacious and immaculate....

Great facilities, poor execution

Much more attention to detail would be appreciated. We asked for drinks to be stocked in the minibar fridge three times and finally just gave up. We are a very active couple and asked for 4 large bottles of water be stocked daily. This was also not done. Finally, make sure coffee is stocked in your suite before night. You can't get any until 9am the next day, and coffee is not available from room service until after 7am. Otherwise, a very good experience. Staff in restaurants and bars are great. The pools and beach are well maintained. Food quality is a notch above what I expected. All this being said, without better attention to guest requests for in room services I wouldn't recommend for a week-long vacation.

Royal Turquesa

Pros: swim up room, the grounds are beautiful Cons: Arrived early but could not go to the room until exactly 3pm. Check in staff failed to provide valuable information such as making reservations to restaurants which is a must if you don't want to wait for over a hour, that if you stay at the royal resort you can access the spa amenities for free. Since we arrived early they could had given us a tour of the resort since it is so big and has four resorts all together. There sales people everywhere and they insist a lot, I mean a lot, just anoying. Also the staff is not that friendly, they don't know the resort themselves, we got lost a few times and a lot of them would send us to the wrong direction. Also they don't have a problem in turning their back to their clients once they notice you are approaching them and this happened in more than one occasion! But the worst of all are the food and drinks... Drinks taste like soap, and food ofcourse got me sick, had terrible diarrhea that just ruined 2 out of my 5 days vacation. Attempted to go the doctor at the resort who wanted to charge 150 for consultation and a bunch of extra charges like $50 for vital signs with oxymeter! I ended up asking my expedia agent to buy me so gatorate and immodium outside ( thanks for her I was able to fly back home). Also if you get resort credit don't get excited they will find a way for you not to be able to use it! I am just disappointed...

Good experience

Good experience I had a very nice time there I really enjoyed my stay but I did expect the food should be much better I went to a lot of the all-inclusive resorts the food here was very good but nothing major I expected something much better but overall I had a very good experience
