Giving it 4 stars because: -two days in a row they forgot to give us towels, and we’d realize after we came back from excursions and couldn’t shower but after this they made sure we had them -my main issue was the pillows… they smelled awful. You know when you place clothes in the washing machine and forget them for hours? Then you have to wash them again because of the odor. That’s what it was for the whole stay -other than this: property is gorgeous, great access to the beach and views, food is really good, the rooms are quiet and staff is really good

The beach was nice, but the wind was constant! The room felt very much like a standard hotel and less like a nice resort. Air conditioning was broken, tiles were cracked. You could tell it’s seen better days. There were also a TON of children everywhere so there was a lot more noise than we were expecting. Staff was nice but not overly helpful or accommodating. The food was ok…nothing special, other than really nice fruit at every meal. We stayed for 5 days and could only get dinner reservations for 2 of the days. But it worked out because the two restaurants we did go to just served the same food as the buffet in a different presentation. Went on an excursion booked through the hotel to see a cenote and plantations and the “cenote” was clearly man made lol the plantations was just a store where they tried to get you to buy their products lol DO NOT GO. Also there are tonssss of vendors haggling you on the beach. Like wverh 15min between 8am-5pm you are approached to buy things. Would not go back.

What I like in this hotel thats a green area and beach, thats it. Food- The worst thing is service!! Its so bad! They should change all staff!! They expect from you tips everywhere, even for each cocktail in the bar!

The experience was expected comparing their prices to other resorts.They are one of the cheapest and sadly my experience with them was poor. We stayed at two of their properties located in punta cana and the customer service was aweful. We did have a server at the buffet who treated us very well but besides him, everyone else seemed tired of customers. Also to add, they are partnered with "Holiday Inn" who try to sell you vacation packages after disguising it as a gift. A simple no did not convince them after we decided to hear them out. We were firm with our no but had to go through six different people who all kept asking us why we said no. After the 1 hr lost, we wouldve been okay with missing out on this gift. Will not be booking with them for my next vacation.

Wonderful for kids, the family room layout plus the kids pool and kids club were great for our 1 year and 4 year old. However we checked into a dirty room and had to wait a long time for a crib to be delivered. Hours for restaurants were inconvenient (no lunch until 12:30, dinner only after 6:30, ice cream shop doesn’t open until 4) this was not ideal with small kids. During our entire stay towels were a shortage, in the room as well as at the pool/beach. The beach is beautiful and well maintained. The resort itself is modern and clean. Another critical would be that we felt nickel and dimed, extras were outrageously expensive ($12 for baby wipes, $30 for bug spray) and service was only acceptable. No pool side or beach service, you have to walk up to a bar. We got used to bringing our own bottles of water to restaurants because service was so slow. There is no elevator, so everyday we carried our stroller up the stairs to the 2nd floor. Overall a beautiful fun resort for families with small kids but room for improvement.

We had a great time in terms of relaxation but as a 30 year old couple, we would have liked some night time fun. Also, the food was very subpar.. especially the buffet. I definitely do not recommend the buffet besides breakfast

This was my second visit and won't be my last! The hotel is constantly working to keep the property clean and neat. The staff are all friendly and ready to help make your stay the best possible. The rooms are great, the beds very comfortable and the shower is awesome! Great walkways all over the property and if you don't want to walk, the trams are always running to take you where you need to go. Very family friendly and plenty of pools to explore or head to the beach, which is beautiful! I give it two thumbs up!

We enjoyed our stay very much regarding staff and cleanliness. The pools are all great!! The beach and beach walk are beautiful. Our all-inclusive food expectations of "ok" were met. You will not go hungry. The restaurant meals we experienced were entertaing and fine. The sports bar food was terrible. The day we were checking out, our safe died. We called the front desk in a little bit of a panic as our passports and wallets were in the safe. Security arrived in 5 minutes to replace the batteries. Service is great!

Had a great time at the Tropical Deluxe Princess - I would give it five stars but the room was pretty lackluster and the buffet food was generally not very good, though I admittedly prefer home cooking. Things I liked - drinks were great, the pools rocked, the staff was wonderful. Yohan and Leticia were our favorite bartenders - there was another one whose name I'm forgetting, a younger guy with an arm tattoo. The resort itself was lovely - iguanas, flamingos, peacocks, a bunch of other birds, little geckos. The grounds were extremely well kept and the walk from the lobby to the rooms is gorgeous. Some of the buffet food was decent. Our room was very quiet (minus the noisy air conditioner). The talent show was hilarious. Things I didn't like so much - I found it extremely annoying that people reserved beach loungers with their towels and didn't use them at all. Maybe that's just how people operate at resorts but it's extremely tacky. Not that I can blame the resort for that. The gift shop was an expected gouge but the sunblock straight up did not work. I got absolutely cooked after using a way overpriced bottle of sunscreen. I also wished that the beach vendors were less prominent - when I'm trying to relax on the beach, the last thing I want is to get hassled every five minutes and have to repeatedly reject people offering me things I don't want (like an expensive picture with a parrot). All in all, I had a great time and would recommend this resort to anyone looking.

There were three things they could inprove the guys that try to sell the pakagea they were pushy, extra ,10 american for bowling .no one was playing . NO snorkeling the waves were way to strong and no clam waters. Other wise the staff worked reall hard and always made our stay very welcoming

Great stay! Family room had ample space for our family of 4. Staff were friendly and the pools/beach situation re: proximity and cleanliness was great. Only 4 stars because I think the food situation was a bit tough. For the nicer restaurants, you have to make reservations once on site, and when we got there most were booked up. They also didn’t open until 6pm, which is too late with young kids. The buffet food was OK. But could be better. Everything else from the coffee shop on property to the ice cream to the kids pool was great!
