Close to the beach?

The room smelled bad, the linens were old and ratty and we did not appreciate the high handed sales tactics of the time share salesman!

Not very pleasant

The first problem was lost luggage We went the whole entire week with No air conditioning and when asked To be moved closer to the ocean They kept telling me they were sold Out. There was hardly anyone there Every night all the front rooms were Dark. They moved me to the middle Of the hotel on the 3 rd floor where It was 84. It smelled like mold and Mildew.The food was not very good.

Excellent location on the beach!

First time to Punta Cana and it was great. Weather was great, beach very clean, great for taking walks, warm water,etc... We stayed on the Cayena Beach side of the VIK hotel which gave us access to all the main restaurants, pools & bars plus we had our own VIP side with it's own pool, bar, restaurant, pool side chairs with cushions and it was closer to the beach. The food at this hotel was very good as well. None of us (4 people) had a bad meal. Whether it was at one of the buffets, sit down restaurants or bars. The only thing we did not like was they did not have pool side beverage service. You had to get up and get your own drink. But all the other plus' far out weigh the minor inconvenience of getting your drinks. When I go back to Punta Cana we will surely stay at the VIK Cayena Beach Hotel.

Traumlage und super Service

Cons: Renovierung der Zimmer
Location: zum Plaza Bavaro ca. 3 km, 10 Dollar mit dem Taxi, kein Supermarkt mehr, nur Souvenir Artikel.
Alles bestens, der Service einfach klasse. Aber in dieser Preisklasse erwarte ich eine einwandfreie Suite. Die Einrichtung war abgewohnt, die Fliesen auf dem Boden z. T. lose und Kanten abgebrochen. Im Badezimmer war ständig Wasser auf dem Boden, die Kombination Badewanne/Duschtasse hatte lange Risse, die z. T. mit Silikon notdürftig zugeklebt wurden. Da dies sicherlich auch in den anderen Zimmern undicht war, ist stellenweise Schimmel an der Decke. Die Zimmer sollten komplett renoviert werden.
