Our stay was extremely relaxing and overall really awesome. The staff is amazing - they truly went above and beyond. The facility itself is smaller than other resorts in the area - but we found this to be a postive thing. It was less crowded and had a very cozy feel. Each room has its own pool right outside, along with two pools near the beach. The beach is very secluded and has plenty of chairs and shade if you need it. The resturants were great! Lots of options with great taste. Dinner is listed as formal wear but that is loosely interrupted so if that turns you off I wouldnt worry. In room food service and the mini bar is also included. The spa was wonderful, and they offer some great discounts. Overall everything you could want or need is included. We highly recommend for a relaxing vacation somewhere warm. Only down side is that the resort is located in a remote area a good distance from the airport - so be ready for an hour or longer ride there.

Great Hotel, expected more from Zoetry

Pros: The scenery, the facilities, the attention to romantic details in the room
Cons: Attention to guests’s needs.
Location: Second farthest Hotel from the airport. Did not explore much nearby but only a day trip to Santo Domingo
My husband and I booked this 6 day trip to Zoetry Punta Cana based on our honeymoon experience in Zoetry Cancun 3 years ago. We arrived around 3:30 pm and our room wasn’t ready, but okay, no biggie. After lunch we got our room yet took maybe 20-25 min for our luggage to arrive,okay no biggie. We were craving laying down by the amazing pool with a drink in our hands, which only happened after we fetched it ourselves, and found the towels. Minor details like this makes this experience okay, just not amazing. They have the staff, they are there, they just seem to Ben in no rush, interest and slightly bothered my your request. The staff will always agree to what you may request but time after time they would not bring it or would take 10-15 min per drink. Again no biggie itself but not for Zoetry. We arranged coffee to be brought to our room at 5:40 am the night prior (we were going on a tour at 6, therefore time matters, yet it arrived 15 min late.) On a hotel that prides itself on excellence, (and charges for it too) “okay” just doesn’t cut it. Talking to other guests during our stay, they thought so too. Staff is nice, but that’s it. One or two of the employees were amazing DEFINITELY YES but overall, for the price, and what I was expecting...meh.

Very good resort and friendly staff. Good service. Lot of activities in the resort. Very clean and feels very close to nature. They could add another restaurant or add some variety to food as it was similar type of food in all the restaurants. Beaches were wonderful and very clean. Overall my stay was very good.

Most AMAZING resort ever!!!

My husband and I recently stayed at Zoetry Punta Cana for 10 days to celebrate our honeymoon. The vacation was FANTASTIC for various reasons including the staff, food, drinks, entertainment and cleanliness of the resort, as well as the overall aesthetics of the property itself. Some highlights: - The staff were friendly & accommodating; this small hotel truly makes you feel at "home", many of them even knew us on first name basis. - The food was incredible!! From tuna filet, fresh ceviche, flank steak with risotto, rack of lamb, filet mignon with gorgonzola cheese, lobster tail, we felt like we were fine dining every day. - Drinks were strong, made with top shelf liquors & the presentation was always impressive. - 24/7 room service through your room’s iPad. - Housekeeping cleaned the rooms 2-3x per day, plus offered free laundry service. - Extremely strong WiFi connection throughout entire resort. - Tons of loungers & cabanas on the beach. The staff are always out there raking the sand and delivering drinks. - Entertaining evening shows & tons of daily activities (Spanish lessons, yoga, cigar rolling, cooking classes, water sports, fire shows, Dominican dancing, violinists, etc.). - First class spa facility: we both got massages, pedis & took advantage of the hot tubs, sauna & steam room. - Gym has great equipment + a mini-bar stocked with Gaterade, bottled water, and damp towels. Overall, we had a 10/10 experience and would love to one day return!!

Pretty quiet resort, needs some updating for the price , Italian restaurant , food and staff were great !

Good infrastructure but need to improve the food which was average.the hotel service is effective but sometimes came wrong items

Pros: The staff was wonderful
The hotel is beautiful with the beautiful grounds and such friendly people. It was wonderful to either sit by the beach or the pool and you can hear the ocean and see it.

Everyone was very pleasant at the resort. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our time there very much. However the hotel gift shop sold us fake cigars on our first day there. I contacted management and they have refused to take the cigars back or refund the money. They seemed to be aware that its being done in their own facility at their shop. This speaks volumes to the integrity of management. It's a given that fake Cuban cigars are peddled throughout the Caribbean, however a large "respectable" hotel chain should not be taking advantage of their guests.
