One of the best views of Gorriti Island and at sunset. Super fully equipped, with indoor and outdoor pools, gym, barbecue, sauna and rooms to receive guests in large groups. Other aspects to highlight 🛁 ⸻ About hot water In Uruguay, most homes – including this accommodation – use electric water heaters to heat water. Unlike other countries such as Brazil (where electric showers are used) or Argentina (with gas boilers), hot water here is not unlimited. The water heater works like a water heater: it stores a certain amount of water that it keeps warm by means of a heating element. Depending on the size of the equipment, the hot water available can be enough for: • 1 long shower, • 2 short showers in a row, • or 3 short showers if they are done with a break between one and the other. Once the hot water is depleted, the water heater needs approximately 30 to 60 minutes to fully reheat it. 👉 Recommendation: If several people are showering, it is ideal to leave an interval between baths so that the water heater has time to recover its temperature.
