"Howler monkeys by the creek, including a baby. The owner came to get us so we could see them. Thank you! The homemade meals were delicious and really appreciated the focus of keeping it Belize style. This will be a return to for us in a few years. The manager is great and shared his vast knowledge. Could not confirm amenities or accommodation of diet restrictions. Had to make another booking but was still charged for this one and could not get refunded even though I tried to contact them repeatedly and expedia as well. We stayed at Creekside Oasis instead."

"The staff at this hotel are the real stars, particularly Emelita Teul and Linsburg Chun, who go over and above anything required of them to be as helpful and hospitable as possible. The staff generally are very friendly, kind, considerate, and gentle (like most Belizeans, I might add).
