Recently renovated. Comfortable, well decorated, rooms were large. Staff helpful. Excellent location in central Szeged.

The property was fine. The main complaint is my air conditioning did not work. I had to open a window to cool the air, but that also let in considerable noise from the outdoor dining area below.

I booked a 2 bedroom suite for my mom and my brother. The booking was guaranteed according to Hotels.com. Despite of this, they were checked in to an adjacent room type of accommodation with no kitchen and no living area. They were not warned at check in, they just faced with the situation when they entered the room. They went to complain to the receptionist, and after a brief conversation they were compensated with free breakfast, free parking and were placed in a smaller 1 bedroom suite and a regular room. Since my mom is over 80 and needed help, it was not the best situation, but was doable. I would give better ratings for the hotel, if their communication were clear and they told them, that “We are so sorry, but we made a mistake and we gave your room for someone else, but we compensate you with these and these.” The question is still there, how can this happen, but less disappointing. The hotel was nice and clean, location was perfect (walking distance from the hospital where my mom had to go) for them, the parking was convenient and the breakfast was good. Please, improve your communication, and we will be happier next time.

Please note that every guest comment is important for us and help to get know our shortcomings and improve our services. Due to an administrative error, two valid reservations were received for the suite you requested. Our staff noticed the problem the night before arrival and tried to find the best possible solution. Not communicating it right after discovering the issue was a mistake. We do apologise for the inconvenience.We have offered an executive room and a connecting renovated room to your mother and your brother. When your brother indicated that he needed a larger table and space for his day job, we offered him one of our smaller meeting rooms. As a last solution, we accommodated them in a one-bedroom suite and standard room next to it. As a compensation we offered free breakfast and parking and as you have already written.Once again, we would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by the lack of proper communication. We made a mistake, but our colleagues have done their best to find the best possible solution for your mother and your brother. Everything was nice and as business man I appreciate quiet rooms, good parking and breakfast was fine. Only missing in bathroom soap and shampoo, it was empty, no refill!!
