Comfortable hotel . Room was nice size and very clean. Liked the heated towel rack! They seemed very short staffed with one person running back and forth from checking in guests at the don’t desk to pouring wine at the bar.

I would not recommend it
This hotel is an example of man at the service of architecture: there is nowhere to hang your towels in the bathroom. In addition, they have cups instead of real glasses in the room, and the room was really quite dusty on the floor and bedside tables. I expected more....the service from the front desk employees was very good, but there was nobody available to come to my room to bring me real glasses etc

The room was comfortable with separate toilet from shower. The shower was forgetful and great. The beds were very comfy. I liked being able to use the exercise room. The hotel was extremely convenient for walking around downtown Clermont-Ferrand.

Nice view from room
The + - The room was big enough for 2 adults and a baby in his stroller with a nice view on the mountains. - The toilet is separated from the shower. - No noise from street nor hallway nor from other rooms - Inside parking The - - The room was not very clean (lots of hair in the toilet and the shower, some dust in corners and in closet). - The hotel have no place to change the baby diaper even though the restrooms are big enough to put a table for that. I had to do it on the small table in the lobby :( - From the parking, you have to climb stairs to reach the lift that goes to the lobby. No way to do it with a stroller or heavy luggages and nobody to help you through.

Excellent Hotel

A nice hotel, convenient to walk to the Old Town.
A nice hotel, convenient to walk to the Old Town, good underground parking. A nice clean well appointed room on the the back of the hotel away from the road at the front. We looked onto the what appeared to be an old hospital which looks like it will be knocked down or renovated in the future. Something to be aware of in the future. Definitely would stay again.

Central comfortable modern corporate hotel
Stayed here 3 nights over weekend,. Good points: v easy public transport access with tram and bus stops outside. Goood 5 min walk to main Place Jaude. Light, bright and quiet bedroom at back onto block of flats/offices on 4/5 floor. No disturbance and good sleep in big bed and good temperature control. Smart modern furnishings and super bathroom with huge walk-in rain/spray shower. Tea and coffee making most welcome. Great Jacuzzi and steam room on ground floor to relax. Free wifi and use of computer and printer. free newspapers Poor points: paper cups, rather than china; nothing in English language on tv; breakfast not included and charged ridiculous E15 each. (Fortunately plenty of bars and cafes eg Univers, nearby with continental breakfast cE5).

Personal items in bath room are taken and broken by cleaning person, probably by mistake, this could happen, but some employees in front desk really need a good training to learn how to communicate with clients in a such situation

Great hotel.Nice size room with large shower stall.Short walking distance from downtown. Excellent buffet breakfast. Parking underground. Just one negative: A few steps from parking level to elevator. If you have a lot of luggage, will suggest to drop them off using the circle by the street.

Avoid Clermont Ferrand
We came here for a long weekend and found ourselves extremely bored. There was nothing to do here. On Sundays there was nothing open so we spent the day wandering around aimlessly. For a university city I expected that the mall would have been open but it was like a ghost town. great stop if you're passing through but no more than one night. Won't be back unfortunately. Hotel itself was ok but charge €15 per person per day for breakfast, so go to a cafe for cheaper (if you can find a place that does brunch!!! - we ended up at McDonald's)

Parking issues
The hotel was good and I had no complaint about anything. The only issue was parking which you had to walk 5 or 6 stairs with the suitcases before getting to the elevator. Also, there was a fee for parking which was annoying.

Modern and comfortable
The Superior Double room was modern, fresh and comfortable. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the bathroom was large with a good shower. Secure parking is available on-site. The bar area was relaxing after a long day of driving.

Vheck in was quick, however the receptionist guy that helped us had no interest in being friendly. When we asked questions he responded very fast like trying to get rid of us soon. Not very polite I would say....and to me receptionists are the face of the hotel.

Good room and friendly staff.
Decent room. Very clean and enough room for a family room. Having a separate toilet was really good. Parking is below hotel underground. Very convenient but expensive at €15 per night. Soon builds up. Similarly better value breakfast can be had across road at Cafe Universal.
