Hotel in die Jahre gekommen!

Posted Nov 7, 2014 on Hotels

Posted Oct 24, 2014 on Hotels

One of the best

Dont miss it. The only thing you might need is a rental car to go to city center, otherwise taxies are available.

Le meridien aug 14

Posted Aug 28, 2014 on Hotels
Stayed nearly two weeks in a pleasant hotel. Strengths were service by cypriot staff v good - let down by eastern europeans russian staff. V large nos of russian guests so be warned. Booked sea view rooms - upgrade to garden villa - that spoiled break tbh. Villas not 5* more like a club med mark warner accom. Air con leaked , carpet smell of cats, no room keys for a week, decor v dated. Private pool in bad state numerous tiles coming away - daughter cut foot. Lots of pools - be aware salt water pool more salty than med. Restaurants on site heavily booked - so reservation after 9am good idea. Havent a clue as to why dull and uninspiring menu choice - plus v expensive. Better option splash 30€ on return taxi fares to old quarter of limassol or new marina - find better food and drink at least half the cost. Location not bad but as in august am sure the surrounding area is a hive of construction in cooler months. Land cleared to east of hotel for major luxury villa developments. Lack of info as to cypriot attractions. Underground car park too small especially as spa is open to non hotel guests who also use facilities. Gather hotel closes in 2015 for major refurb. Talk of 7* goal. Ambition is always a good thing - dillusion not. 5* rating would imply top class hotel in london and disappointingly this hotel is nowhere near a top international standard.

Great place to properly relax

Highly recommended for families who just need a break. Plenty of pools so easy to escape younger children if you need to, and plenty of activities for all ages if you can drag yourself away from said pools.

Beach & family hotel

Posted Aug 10, 2014 on Hotels
This hotel have a very nice private beach and a range of pools that exceeded our expectation. A very good hotel for families with kids. They have the penguin club for kids that will keep the kids busy but also very happy. They had so many activities that my daughter never want to go anywhere else. The staff of the club are the best really wonderful group of young energetic and playful. Thank you penguin club

Best place to stay in Limassol except for the wifi

Posted Jul 10, 2014 on Hotels
Having stayed at the Four Seasons as well I would say choose the Meridien if you are content with a Mercedes 500 SEL that is four years old or more. If you must get a new car each year, stay at the Four Seasons. The crazy 40 Euro charge for 3x wifi devices in the room would probably have stopped me booking there if I had realised it at the time. That would have been a shame because I enjoyed the 7 days there more than the Four Seasons for many reasons; far better value for money, the sun stays on the pool for about an hour a day more each evening, the size of the facilities, etc. etc. It was great to have the room cleaned each day hours earlier than the Four Seasons too.
