Not good!

Posted Feb 23, 2017
Pros: Breakfast was good.
Cons: Staff at the front desk, needs more training.
Location: Davenport, Iowa / was there on a busines meeting, no time for anything else.
We found dog food on the floor next to the heating unit on the south wall of our suite. We had a another guest open our door to our room with his card key. Had to go back down to front desk to get our cards reprogrammed. Wife was very upset that our privacy was violated by the intrusion. She wanted to checkout after that as she was not confident that she would be secure in our room after I left for a business meeting. My wife did not sleep at all Tuesday night because every time she heard a noise in the hallway she was afraid someone was coming into our room.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is good to know that you were delighted with the "Be Our Guest" breakfast. However, we apologize that you were not satisfied with the accommodations of your room and the service you received from our staff during your stay. This is not the kind of experience we want our valued guests, like you, to have. Your feedback will be forwarded to the hotel management to ensure situations like these won't happen again in the future. We hope for another chance to have you as our guest at any of our Country Inn & Suites hotels.

Perfect Location

Posted Dec 31, 2016
We stayed here over the holidays and it was absolutely perfect. We had not a single hiccup with our entire stay. Each staff member we met had a smile on their face and was willing to go above and beyond to meet our expectations. Breakfast was excellent, rooms were tidy, bathrooms spotless, and beds were nice and comfy! Would highly recommend!

comfortable

Posted Dec 3, 2016
Pros: Price of room, size of room
Cons: Some breakfast items stale -- biscuits, bagels, other bread/pastry products. We were given a handicap accessible room. No problem with only a shower
Location: Off 53rd street, which leads to several shopping areas to the east. North of Northpark Mall by a few blocks. Right off Brady Street/Route 61.
Reasonably priced with average amenities. Stayed for two nights. Coffee available for most of the day and evening. Reasonable breakfast items. Quiet setting.

We had an accessible room. The shower and bathroom were not great. The beds were squeaky. The breakfast room was great and breakfast was good. It is fine for a quick overnight stay.

Dear Traveler, Thank you so much for choosing our hotel and for taking the time to review your stay. My apologies for the less than comfortable room! If, in the future, you find that you have been booked into an accessible room and do not require it, please ask the desk staff if they have a different room type available. We will gladly make that switch whenever possible! We hope to see you the next time you are in the area! Sincerely, Diane

The room was filthy. Almost every surface was covered in slime and crusty particles. We had to wipe down the door knobs, desk, night stands, remote controls, toilet, etc. We stay at a lot of hotels, many that are much older, and hardly ever have to do any self-cleaning. The front desk would not give me a receipt because they said I reserved through third party. I have booked through Hotels.com several times before and have always been able to get a receipt at the front desk. I will be looking into this more, but was uneasy that I was forced to check out without a receipt. The breakfast buffet was not stocked. Although the hotel layout was nice and room was comfortable (after self-cleaning), I will try to avoid staying here. I will even pay a little more to stay somewhere else.

Dear Traveler, Please accept our apologies for sending you to a guestroom that was not properly cleaned. I assure you that our standards do not allow for such an experience! Regarding your billing, the front desk clerk was correct. Your transaction did not occur with our hotel so we would have no receipt. The email confirmation that you received at the time of booking would have included a summary of our charges and a receipt. We appreciate the feedback and will use it to fine tune our operations in the hope that upon your next visit we can exceed your expectations. Sincerely, Diane

Room was comfortable, quiet, a little small.

Posted Nov 12, 2016
Pros: The room was quiet and clean. Staff was friendly dor tge most part.
Cons: I did end up with a handicapoed room and was unable to take a bath. The hotel was full and they could not move me to another room. Not necessarily the hotels fault.
Location: Clise to many restaurants and main streets for easy access to many attractions.

Convenient and Comfortable stay

Posted Nov 4, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel is very comfortable and affordable. I've stayed here twice now - once for work and once for pleasure. The hotel WiFi is free and works wonderfully so if you need to get work done, you can. They have free coffee in the lobby all day/night if you want it. It's well kept and I would highly recommend staying here.
