Staff not very friendly. Hallways and stairs pretty dirty

When we walked into our room the room smelled wet. The air conditioner didn't work we had to have our door open to get air from the hallway. The floor was wet and sticky. I would never stay there again.

It was not completely horrible, but our room smelled like urine and there were beetles in the hallway.

Cons: Cleanliness and ability to follow through with requests.
Poor maintainence of motel. Carpet dirty and missing in front of air conditioning unit. Air conditioning unit noisy when it goes on, Sloppy painting in bathroom and corners not cleaned. People with dogs placed in rooms next to people without dogs. All dogs should be placed in same area so they can bother each other, not people without. Handicapped accessible room requested well before arrival for my 98 year old mother, and not provided and not placed in room near door to decrease the difficulty of her movement as was told via e-mail prior to arrival.

I do apologize about the dogs and our rooms we do not have pacific rooms for our guest with dogs we try to put them all on first floor close to the exit i also do apologize about the room you guys had so we could not get her close to a exit to where she dont have that much walking

Great front staff/ filthy hotel.

Pros: The front staff were excellent.
Cons: The cleanliness.
Location: N/A for my situation
-Wonderful front staff (Jazzmyn, you are a sweetheart). Overall, the hotel was dirty - the carpeting outside the room was very, very filthy, as was the elevator. The tub was dirty with hair on the shower wall. Front staff stated it is scheduled for a remodel soon. It seems they are letting it go until the remodel. As a former hotel maid my assessment is that I would rather sleep in my car than stay there again.

Disgusting/filthy

After waiting 15 minutes for an attendant to arrive at then desk at 11pm she had her friends all hanging out in the lobby and smoking out front at the entrance doors. We got our room, went inside and it was the dirtiest room and hotel I have ever seen. I took my shoes off walked barefoot to the restroom and my feet were black and sticky with goo from the carpet. Visible splatter stains on the fabric bench and over sized chair I turn back the linens to see if they were even clean. Walls were filthy and stained, room smelled like over sprayed air freshener. Placed looked like a half way house. We went right down stairs and asked for a refund and went elsewhere. I have given excellent 5star reviews for 4 years of travel and always stayed at the LaQuinta Inns. I never thought I would find one like this. Keep driving !

Second visit in less than a week - stopped there on way out to Nebraska and stopped there on the way back to Ohio. That pretty much says that it was a good experience both times!

Pros: Staff was nice
Slashes, paint and icing in curtains. Cig. burns on bathtub. Toilet overflowed. Doorknob in bathroom was off. Shortage in lamps

Loved that there was a hiking trail nearby.

Pros: Friendliness of staff
Cons: Need TV guide in room
Location: Loved eating at the Treehouse and walking/running the nearby bike trail.
Everything was good. Breakfast was nice. There was not a tv guide in the room. Everything else fine.

Short Stay

Pros: Nothing
There was not a frig or microwave in the room. The A/C was very noisy. The bed needs to be replaced, we both woke up with backaches. Outside door was left unlocked all night. The property was very dated and we chose it because we had stayed at La Quinta properties before that were much nicer and this location did not come even close to our expectations.
