Just Ok for over night StayPosted Aug 26, 2015
This was my third hotel in Quebec city region. For the money, I would say this place is Ok. But I expected more for the standards of Quebec City.

Could use some TLCPosted Aug 17, 2015
Staff were friendly, breakfast was good, but the location and state of the building weren't great. - Room smelt musty - Need to take bus to get to city centre

Good value and location.Posted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: Location, friendly staff, comfortable room.
Spent four days here. Convenience store a couple of blocks away sells tickets for the bus. $8.00 Canadian to ride any bus all day. Nice bakery across the street from where you get bus tickets. Sandwiches already made and ready to go. Ham and cheese croissant was delicious. Bus stop right by hotel, with the #7 bus stopping every 15 min. or so. It drops you off right at the entrance to Old Town Quebec. Hotel is the perfect location.......far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be quiet, but not so far as to be an inconvenience. Dinner at the nearby Italian restaurant is also highly recommended. Good music, good atmosphere and really good food. I can guarantee you, on my next trip to Quebec, this is where I will be staying.

Reasonably priced and close enough to old cityPosted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Price and location
Cons: The plumbing should be updated. Could use some cosmetic improvements.
Four of us stayed in this hotel for one night in mid July. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from old Quebec city which works out to about $10 cab ride if you don't want to walk. The walk is a straight shot along the street and is pleasant enough in the summer. The hotel staff was very helpful and pleasant but our room was not that great. The room was located in the basement which meant it was kind of dark and dank. The lights did not work other than one lamp with a bare bulb and no on/off switch. There was also an unlocked door that led to a storage/laundry space which gave the room a slightly uncomfortable feel as it seemed that it could be entered at any time. Other than that, the room was large enough and comfortable enough. It had a small kitchenette, two double beds, and a fair sized bathroom. The shower is affected when other rooms turn on the water so it can be difficult to take a shower at a busy time (i.e. morning) when everyone is using the washrooms. The water temperature will frequently jump from scalding to freezing so you will want to shower at an "off time". The hotel itself is in an older building and could use a little TLC but it is clean and comfortable at a fair price.
