Great location in old quebecPosted Nov 7, 2015
Pros: Location, food, staff, old charm decoration in room, rainfall shower
Cons: The plumbing so the water doesn't go from really hot to really cold while in the shower!
Location: Cochon Dinge for breakfast. Pillaird for breakfast and pastries. Mont Morency Falls Park near by for nice walks
Got upgraded so that was great! Hotel staff was great. No elevators but that wasn't a problem for us. Staff helps you with your luggage up and down. Room was clean. Location was great. They still have the really hot or really cold water issue in the bathroom. Breakfast was great in the restaurant. Would stay here again.

Nice, eclectic hotelPosted Oct 28, 2015
Pros: Old building feeling, but everything new.
Location: Right across from the way from the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. Walk to most of Old Quebec easily
I really liked this hotel. It has charm that I don't get at a chain hotel. It's well located in the upper Old City, right near the Frontenac hotel. The taxi's gather pretty close to it so they all know where to go. We got free wifi, and a free breakfast at their restaurant, as well as $20 CAN towards dinner there. The possible downside is that there's no elevator. They are fantastic about carrying your luggage up to and down from your room (kudos to them for that), but you have to walk up/down yourself. They won't carry you :) So if you can't do stairs, either make sure you can get the few rooms on the bottom floor, or don't stay here. Even with the bottom floor, understand that you'll have to walk up about 6 feet of stairs to get into the place from the outside.

Great little hotel.Posted Oct 26, 2015
The hotel was in a great location, within minutes to everything in the old city. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The free breakfast was good and the dinner we had at the hotel's restaurant was superb. We would definitely go back.

Great location very nice breakfast.Posted Oct 24, 2015
Pros: Staff was wonderful very helpful.stayed in the attic room would not recommend if you have any mobility issues. No elevator 3 stories up.
Cons: More hooks or shelves in the room.
Location: Location could not be better you can walk anywhere you want to go. Restaurant in the hotel was wonderful. Many other choices available within walking
This hotel is in a good location. Close to everything. I recommend staying here if you do not have mobility issues. Narrow steps from the street all the way to the top floor. Staff carried our bags up and down very helpful. Breakfast was fabulous.

It is all about the locationPosted Oct 17, 2015
Lovely hotel situated in the heart of Old Quebec City. Walking distance to any possible sightseeing location. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel restaurant worked great for us. Regardless of the funny smell from our bathroom, room 4, I would stay again because of the location

Cons: Restaurant on premises, great at breakfast but average or below at dinnertime
Fantastic location in Old Quebec that is directly across from the famous Frontenac and a quick walk from all of the sights, sounds, shopping and food in the district. Very well done modernization of an antique building, full of charm.
