Ski Hill convienence

Posted Mar 30, 2017
Pros: This hotel is directly below the Gondola so makes it a wonderful ski-in, ski-out. As well it has a great hot tub!!
Cons: The rooms definitely need more cleaning...someone's Cheerios didn't get vacuumed up!
Location: There's in nothing to do in Mont Ste. Anne. One bar the hotel/restaurant, one small bar in the ski chalet and one restaurant.
With every vacation it's what you make it!! The hotel is excellent for ski-in, ski-out...if the skiing is all you're interested in, this is for you. There is nothing to do within walking distance of the hotel. One restaurant that's OK and a bar in the Main Lodge that isn't open most of the time. We had a car which allowed us to go to Le Massif and tour the area...I suggest you get a car to make your vacation more fun.

We are sorry that your stay was not what you expected. For the cleaning, of course, we will make sure to send your comment to the housekeeping department. It is effectively inacceptable. As for saying that there is "nothing to do in Mont Ste-Anne", we would stay it is strongly stated. Of course, if you come to party, you will need a car to get downtown Québec city. Beaupré could be considered as a suburb of Québec city since it is at a 25-five-minute drive. It is mostly quiet and centered on sports. However, you have to understand that, generally, in Québec, it is quiet. We have lots of events planned, but mostly during summer time. However, as an hotel, we try to offer a good ambiance, but of course it really depends on what you are looking for.

It's not 4 star

Posted Mar 27, 2017
Great: location, ski in/out , ski storage. Good: beds. Bad: noise in the room from the ventilation.Very bad: sauna and swimming pool are old and dirty. The hotel especially lobby requires renovation . 2.5 -3 stars

Sorry that your stay with us did not meet up with your expectations. Renovations are on process. However, during winter, it is hardly the moment when the mountain is open to make such renovations. Moreover, please note that a hotel is not only categorize on the renovations that it is making, but actually on the services that it is offering.

A great hotel for skiers.

Posted Mar 20, 2017
Pros: At the base of the mountain. Ideal for skiers. Good restaurant, with good service, although a little pricey for dinner.
Cons: Grandparents stayed in a new (refurbished) room. They missed having a kettle and teapot, which are available in the older rooms.
Location: Ski village within easy (5 minutes) walk. Includes creperie and fondue restaurants, and helpful ski/snowboard equipment rental shop.
Grand parents one new (refurbished) room. Parents, two children and a dog occupied one older room. Total stay was for 6 nights over March break. Excellent vacation (helped by great ski conditions especially after 38 cms of snow fell midweek).

Ski in ski out

Posted Mar 19, 2017
Pros: Close to gondola for skiing
Cons: Limit dogs to specific rooms on specific floor to limit furniture contamination by dog dander and share the barking amongst the dog owners.
Rooms dated from 1970. Bare electric wires at lamp plug in. Kitchenette is filthy. Dogs allowed in rooms so barking starts at 6:00 AM and is non stop until one leaves about 9:00 AM to go skiing. Because of dog dander wife developed asthma attack and had to restart inhaler which had not used in months. Oldest son complained of itchy eyes first day and we could not figure out why until ran into labrador and then retriever barking in main lobby. We have previously stayed in this hotel 6-8 times but it has truly gone to the dogs and should be rated at a 2 star at best.

We are a pet-friendly hotel, but our hotel is also a condo-hotel. Our guests have the right to bring their dogs in certain rooms and only on the second, third and fourth floor (at the end of the corridors only - 8 rooms in total). However, our owners have the right as well since they owned their unit to bring their dogs. Therefore, the only non pet-friendly floor is the first one. Of course, if you have extreme allergies or react strongly to the presence of dogs, maybe we are not the hotel for you. Not all our rooms are outdated. Only the countrystyle ones. We have different categories and if you have allergies, we strongly suggest you to go in a room in the "Espace Nordik" since they have recently been renovated. Thank you.

Very expensive for what you get. Bring lots of money! The room we were in was way past due for a reno.

We are renovating each year, but we cannot do everything in one time and particularly not in winter... We have a variety of rooms and most of them have been recently renovated. Right now, it is the high season, so the prices reflect our market and the simple equation of demand and supply. Moreover, a simple tip: lookout for our special promotions during fall. They worth it!

Thank you for your comment. We are pleased to know that you had a good stay with us. We understand the question regarding restaurants, but that is more a question of people willing to invest in the area. We are doing our best to offer a variety with the new concept of lobby-bar + restaurant during March breaks, however our capacity is limited as an hotel. Hopefully, if more people come, businesses will be interested to open new restaurants! We share your opinion and we hope that the area will continue to grow! Thank you.

Great service!

Posted Feb 22, 2017
Pros: ski in ski out, very helpful staff
After a mishap with getting locked out of our room, the hotel manager took great care to accommodate us and we were upgraded to a condo unit with ample room for our family of 5!

Perfect ski in and out location.

Posted Feb 18, 2017
Pros: Nice room
Cons: Consider the cost of the room, replenishment on toiletry can be better quality and often.
Location: Perfect location for ski in and out

The location is perfect for ski in ski out, with direct access to the mountain and easy ski storage and prep area. Rooms are very comfortable and clean (we stayed in the renovated ones). Facilities (like the spa, pool) and exterior building appearance require a renovation to offer a true 4 star experience, the restaurant room and service are good, we wish fooid was better with fresher ingredients (ex:french fries seemed cooked from frozen), but not overpriced. We will go back
