Nice hotel, clean and quiet

Nice hotel, clean and quiet. Just in front of a shopping center. good coffe and good continental breakfast

I always like staying there but this time, there was a power outage in the early morning. Lucky for me I was checking out anyway. One issue. No emergency lights anywhere in the building and generator. Not ideal for Quebec City in the middle of winter.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience of your experience in our facility. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced as a result of the power outage. The Grand Times Hotel were built according to building standards. For a blackout like the one we had (about 21 hours without electricity), our emergency systems functioned for the period of time governed by the Building Standards. Unfortunately, the power outage was much longer than the standards predict. During the power outage, we found a general problem with telephone systems, the mobile network and the wi-fi network. The companies involved have dispatched technical teams to get everything back on track as soon as possible. Unfortunately, this was out of our control. Once again, thank you for the time you take to write this comment. Hoping to have the chance to welcome you again for a further stay in one of our two locations in Quebec City.

Was expecting $ 142.10 CAD, found out it's US... Does not worth the price. Lack of food / variety at the breakfast, maybe because of the March break but should have been planed by the hotel.

As a boutique Hotel, it is not bad.

Pros: The lobby was outstanding and especially well decorated. The staff were very helpful and polite.
Cons: Simply add a dining room.
Location: It is across the street from Les Galeries de la Capital with lots of shopping, restaurants and walking areas.
I was there only one evening so my experience is limited. With no dining room I had to leave the premises but it is OK as the area included lots of fine dining who willingly provided a credit based on their relationship and partnership with the Hotel.

A couple of things that I was not comfortable with: 1- the queen size bed had cover sheets smaller than the bed cover itself so feet will touch actual cover ?!@# 2- the TV was fixed and glued to the dresser, so can't swivel to any direction other than straight ahead. Not to mention that any HDMI input was blocked. So could not hook laptop to TV.
