First time there.

Pros: Very clean ,staff was helpful and quiet rooms
Cons: Breakfast could have had a better selection of fresh fruit and yogurt.The shampoo was not the best but the soap was great!
Location: One mall walking distance and car dealerships.Movie theatre was close but only 2 shows only daily and mostly French? Were were bilingual.
Nice place to stay not very convenient for visiting downtown location, no transportation other then city buses.we had to spend 20 dollars each ride of Taxi less we rent a car .

Nice place and ambiance. Careful 2nd floor room (mine was 214) right over the elevator motors... pretty noisy. Location convenient. No restaurant, location compensates: lots of restaurant close by (walking distance). Close to running trail - nice! Personnel friendly

Horrible odor!

Cons: Lighting, odor!
Not sure if it's the theme of the hotel or not, but the whole hotel including outside, hallway, room are pretty dark. I can tell it's trying to have updated renovation, but the finish is not quite there. This hotel should be a 3 stars no more. The worse part is the odor in the room. It smell horrible once we steps into the room, very very bad smell. We have to leave early next morning so we didn't request a room change. It's a big mistake. Once the A/C turned on, the odor is way worse!!! I wanted to throw up....

Excellent stay

Cons: Shower head was positioned at an inconvenient location - too close to the edge of the tub & very easy for water to splash out even with shower curtain
Location: Right across from Mega Parc. Lots of food options at the food court in the mall. Very close to IGA Extra.
Pretty much happy with everything. Room was very, very, very clean and in excellent condition. Lots of TV channels, both English and French. We booked King Executive so the room came with a mini-fridge, microwave oven, bowls, plates, and utensils; very happy with that too. Ample parking even when the hotel seemed to be very busy during the Canada 150 weekend.

Nice hotel, clean and quiet. Just in front of a shopping center. good coffe and good continental breakfast

Nice staff and clean place

The staff was very nice and attentive. The only negative thing about this hotel: the wifi connection. It kept on going off every 5-10 minutes and at some point, reconnection was impossible. Other than that, everything was very nice.

I always like staying there but this time, there was a power outage in the early morning. Lucky for me I was checking out anyway. One issue. No emergency lights anywhere in the building and generator. Not ideal for Quebec City in the middle of winter.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience of your experience in our facility. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced as a result of the power outage. The Grand Times Hotel were built according to building standards. For a blackout like the one we had (about 21 hours without electricity), our emergency systems functioned for the period of time governed by the Building Standards. Unfortunately, the power outage was much longer than the standards predict. During the power outage, we found a general problem with telephone systems, the mobile network and the wi-fi network. The companies involved have dispatched technical teams to get everything back on track as soon as possible. Unfortunately, this was out of our control. Once again, thank you for the time you take to write this comment. Hoping to have the chance to welcome you again for a further stay in one of our two locations in Quebec City.
