Overall, it is very clean. However, when it snows, it is hard to keep the salt outside, and they did not clean the floor inside the room. Without slippers, one will step on the salt and sand, which does not feel good. Other than that, it is good.
We stayed here during the Ontario March break and were pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotels was. Proximity to the old city and parliament was awesome! We definitely enjoyed the heated pool and took advantage of the sauna. This was our first stay at a Hilton and definitely won't be the last.
I had a disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. Despite requesting room cleaning four times, from 11 AM to 6 PM, the staff failed to attend to it. This lack of responsiveness and failure to fulfill basic services left me quite unsatisfied. It’s essential for hotels to ensure timely and efficient housekeeping services to maintain guest satisfaction, and unfortunately, this aspect was severely lacking during my stay.
Great stay here! Some pros and cons though:
-bathrooms don’t have fans or atleast our room didn’t which was weird
-annoying noise from furnace at night which kept us up
Body wash would be nice vs the soap
- hair dryers are awful please upgrade them
Great View from room (parliament room was worth it!)
Outdoor pool was wonderful! Could be a little warmer but overall enjoyable!
Great central location and short walk to old part of town
Friendly staff
Parking was easy! You get one in and out per day you stay!
Rooms were cleaned during stay which I very much appreciated
Everything were good, but the heating system was too loud, not sure that was just our room or every single room like that, I have to get up and try to figured out in the middle of the night, it didn’t work, hopefully this will be fixed for my next stay.
The property is good, especially the location is wonderful. The Old Quebec is just in front of the hotel! But the receptionist is not friendly and professional enough. She even forgot wrote the room number for me. And she has not told me either. I was just informed the floor. After I arrived the floor and tried to check the room number and see it’s blank!! I have to go back to the lobby again.
Everything was perfect! Janick was so welcoming and positive at check in. Eveything was clean, my 3 teenaged boys were amazed at the beautiful hotel. We were put in room 1926, with a beautiful view of the parliament buildings. We had a kitchen off the side, a beautiful bathroom, a king sized bed in one room and a pullout couch in the other room and we added a cot. Plenty of space. We were able to text or call customer service for any needs and they were quick to reply. We walked to all of the restaurants on rue st Jean and down to petit Champlain. They had a room on the main floor with pool table, foosball, ping pong that my boys enjoyed in their downtime. Parking was easy and convenient during our stay. The 3rd floor outdoor heated rooftop pool was warm and very cool! It was a bit expensive for our stay (out of our normal budget) but we all enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. We didn’t eat in the lobby restaurant but the food looked delicious. Everywhere we went was very clean and everyone was friendly. The concierge was very helpful when we asked for recommendations on restaurants. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
We stayed in suite 2206, the hotels largest on the 22nd floor corner overlooking Old Quebec City and the St. Lawrence. Wonderful view and HUGE rooms. The kitchenette could have used some plates/cutlery/glasses etc. so that is was more useful. Staff were awesome everywhere and always very helpful. Everything was within a few minutes walking. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we return!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The stay was nice. The pool could have been a bit warmer in the winter
Hilton all renovated with his outside pool at 90°F even if it was -5°F !!! Room are tiny but very nice!! Whe had the parliement view who was also nice!!
Staff were great, first night there the floor smelt like marijuana and there were creepy people walking around, also beer bottles left on the floor by the elevators. Breakfast was supposed to be included and they charged 40$ a person for the buffet. The regular menu at the hotel for breakfast and dinner was awful and extremely overpriced.
I’m not one to usually complain, but considering the price per night; room was small/tight. Beds/pillows were uncomfortable. No extra blanket in room. The room was cold despite upping the temp and turning off the fan. People kept running up and down the corridor making noise or banging the walls.
There was a hockey tournament and cheer competition and we found the hotel to be overcrowded. Line ups for the elevator, waiting up to 20 min.
Limited dining. Overall not satisfied.
All was good. Unfortunately the hotel gives no water bottle in the room you have to buy it. It’s very to believe that we are in 2024 and hotels still don’t give water bottle to drink water in the room as complimentary.
There were a lot of loud and excited children during our 3 day stay. There was a hockey tournament as well as school trips. No food options within a block of the hotel - so you either walked 2-6 blocks or ate at the hotel. Consierge was great and very helpful.
Such a great hotel! The room was beautiful as well as very clean. The location of this hotel allowed us to walk everywhere. The breakfast buffet was phenomenal! No need for a rental car! A taxicab was always at idle at the entrance, which was a plus, too. I highly recommend Quebec City and I would stay here again.
