Nous sommes allés visiter le vieux Quebec et pendant notre séjour nous voulions marcher partout. De plus, nous voulions être hébergé dans une petite hotel avec du caractère! Ceci fut ce que nous avons reçu! Il y avait plusieurs restaurants avec des terasses tout le long de la rue. Super expérience avec cet hotel.

Great Location - not great stay

We were a bit disappointed with our stay. Considering it was a long weekend pretty much everywhere else in Canada but Quebec, we expected better service and better preparation, Especially for what we paid for one night! The receptionist was rude and didn't explain things properly at check-in and there was a leak in the ceiling in the lobby which wasn't being contained - there was just a wet floor sign. As for the rooms, there were spiderwebs on the lamp in the bedroom and there was a stain on the light switch in the bathroom. Breakfast was by far the worst experience! it was a very small dining room - only held about 24 people. They essentially only offered bread, but only had a 4 slice toaster which all the guests had to wait for their turn. I expected more selection and better facilities. There were people waiting their turn in the hallway for a table, and one couple next to me took their teenagers breakfasts up the rooms because there was no where they could sit. I thought the hotel would be charming, seeing as its a converted townhouse, but it was just semi-rundown and nothing spectacular.

It was ok , but big issue with Wifi and facilities for breakfast. It does not worth it to book the room with breakfast included.So the room should be much cheaper with this condition.

Overly expensive, low quality attendant

The hotel is well located and reasonably clean (although the floor of the room was always dirty - simply not swept...). Breakfast room way too small (go early!), Internet wifi was good. Towels are VERY low quality - really?... A good bath towel is 15$ at Wimners... The attendant (bell boy) at the entrance was simply unbelievable: I did not use his services but, as I waited a few times in the lobby, I watched in disbelief as he rarely greeted anyone: patrons were leaving telling him "hello", etc, to which, at times, he replied... I noticed he as watching internet every time we came down the stairs... The evening attendant was good: he carried the suitcase on the stairs (no elevator in this hotel, beware!). As an Expedia Gold member, I travel more than 30-40 days a year using Expedia-booked hotels. This was way to pricey for what they offer...

Pros: Personnel courtois
Location: Près du Vieux-Québec. Visites de musées.
Expérience très agréable. Chambre confortable, propre avec un cachet particulier.

Sehr gute Lage zur Altstadt

Pros: Lage und Findbarkelt, Größe ist überschaubar
Cons: Sowohl hin zur Straße (Gaststätten) als auch zum Hof (Klimaanlagen) ist es nachts ziemlich laut.
Sehr gut erreichbar an der Haupteingangsstraße zur Stadt, unmittelbar umgeben von einer Menge an Restaurants, mit einer freundlichen Mannschaft

Well located! but first impression of Toilet in main Entrance bad and Standard room very dark, a small room with dark brown curtains and bedspread 😒😒 not welcoming. Towels should be more fluffy not like a tissue. Nice Hotel and nice staff. Parking Valet very friendly.

Spacious clean room but noisy.

We stayed at this hotel during our trip round Canada. Québec City was the perfect ending to our holiday. A very beautiful city with a vibrant atmosphere. We were surprised to find our room was located on the ground floor behind the Portman's desk and close to reception. Although the room was spacious and clean our fears were confirmed with the constant noise from the reception area. You can clearly hear people coming and going. The hotel is located on a 'pub street' of sorts and was also noisy. If you are a night owl, then great! There are no supermarkets near to the hotel and the old town is a fair distance. The area of the hotel had a distinct 'blackpool' feel to it due to the noisy stag and hen dos. The breakfast room is laughable and seriously needs to be resituated. We sat in there for 10 minutes and were bumped constantly from the moment of people in the small space. We didn't bother to have breakfast the next day. To be fair, the hotel is clean and the staff are helpful. The price is also good.

Good location bad room

The location, just outside the wall to the old city, right on the main road full of restaurants was wonderful. The room was sweltering with no AC or fan available and no windows! The staff were grumpy at best except for the valet, who was cheerful and helpful.

Hôtel avec un certain cachet

Idéal pour ne pas avoir à circuler en voiture si vous désirer passer du temps dans le vieu... Gros points négatif, le stationnement est minuscule. J'ai dû stationner mon véhicule dans un autre stationnement payant. La chambre a un style ancien et est quand même bien. On paye clairement pour la proximité des attraits.
