Quiet and comfortable

Posted Nov 14, 2016
Pros: Staff, Room quietness, room cleanliness and quietness
Cons: N/A
Location: The Hotel is located at the edge of the Esplanade & the gates of the Old City. Up the street from Rue St. Jean and within walking distance to most
Very nice stay at this hotel. I have always stayed at the Chateau de Frontenac in the past but wanted to try something more boutique. This was a lovely choice. The staff was wonderful; the room was clean and very quiet from any noise. Will definitely return here on my next trip to Old Quebec.

An Excellent Place to Stay in Old Quebec!

Posted Oct 29, 2016
Pros: Thee hotel location is superb. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. Breakfast was great and so we're the staff. The price was very reasonable for what you get. The location was nice and quiet.
Cons: There really was nothing that needed improving. The rooms were a bit hot but That was probably because of the first onset of winter and everyone heating their rooms. Easily solved by opening a window.
Location: The hotel is right inside the walls of the old Fort.

Bonjour M. Lee, Thank you for your review and we are glad to hear that not only did you enjoy the location, but the room and hotel as well. Yes, we have just started heating the rooms, but before you know it, it won't feel so warm with the onset of winter. All windows in the rooms do open, so if you like, you can absolutely get that fresh cool air at any time. Thank you for your support and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back once again in the future! Merci beaucoup,

The perfect place to stay in Quebec City

Posted Oct 29, 2016
Pros: The staff were fantastic, our main floor room was great, the eating/lounge/bar area was cozy and comfortable, the menu was small but the food was GREAT and there was a nice little outdoor patio we would have tried if the weather was warmer. We would absolutely stay there again...one of the best hotels we have visited.
Cons: An elevator would be nice but luckily we were on the ground floor!.
Location: In the old town so a very easy walk to the market, water front and all the old buildings. Also near the parliament grounds. The perfect spot.

Bonjour! Thank you for reviewing your stay with the Expedia travel community. We are very happy to hear you enjoyed your room and our perfect location. I am not sure just which room category you reserved, but the deluxe king rooms and junior suites are particularly spectacular. The building dates to 1835, and served originally as a private family residence, so no, we do not have an elevator. If you need a lower floor, please let us know! Thank you for your support and encouragement. We appreciate it! Merci,

Small boutique hotel within walls of old Quebec

Posted Oct 15, 2016
Pros: Location and staff make this place. Extremely clean. Comfortable bed.
Cons: More variety in hotel cafe. More breakfast choices.
Location: Walk around the corner to the best of old Quebec. Close to Restuarants & night life. Two blocks from the Plains of Abraham with expansive park.
Quiet & comfortable hotel in great location just inside the old city walls. Close to many bars and restaurants so that you can park your car and walk everywhere. Room was small but adequate for two. Little space for luggage storage. The staff was friendly and very helpful with suggestions for dinner and entertainment. Would definitely return again when in Quebec.

A Quebec Jewel.

Posted Oct 15, 2016
Pros: Loved the location, staff, fantastic service and accommodations. It was walking distance to everything.
Cons: I can't think of anything unless breakfast had been included.
Location: Room looked out over a lovely park & was a couple blocks from Parliament, the Hotel Frontenac and the Citadel. Walked everywhere in upper & lower town
A great find. Staff couldn't have been more efficient or helpful and knowledgeable. This hotel couldn't have been better -- location, staff and accommodations! Breakfasts were reasonable and delicious.
